Man, we just can't have any good news without it coming with the bad news. This is certainly a f***ed up year as far as injuries goes in the NHL. Yeesh, can't many good breaks lately. I'll be glad when this season is over.

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom

Bertuzzi-Filppula-Cleary

makes me feel all warm and fuzzy....i wouldn't be mad if they kept bert with dats and moved zetta down to the second...but just seeing them in the lineup anywhere just makes me giggle like a school girl.

Why can't he just play with the broken foot.

He's not known for his skating prowess anyway.

in the old days they would have made them leave the skate on til it healed. that way the swelling wouldnt get so bad they couldnt put a skate back on.... of course back in my day we walked 20 miles to school up hill both ways....

3-4 weeks? Well he should be well rested for the Olympics atleast. Lol, is there anyone on Team Sweden that is healthy at the moment?

good thing is we're getting more players back than we're losing. Bad thing is f*** THIS SEASON.

Look at it this way. The talk around the League is how tired the Pens are from a long post season run (I guess Bettman told them they had to win it w/o him this year). The wings have had 2 of those in a row.

Franzen is getting a long greak, Clearly, Hank, Kronner, Ericsson, and Filp all are gettinga decent break. Now Homer gets his chance to catch his breath. Ozzie is also getting a break. Next will be Pav and Nik, then Rafa and Stuart.

This is setting up perfectly. I mean who cares about post season position. No matter what Bettman will move the schedule up a week, especially if he knows your best player just had surgey on his nuts.

Holland is a genius!

To be honest though, did anyone really expect Homer to get through the season without injury? Better a bruised foot than a groin/back/knee/shoulder issue.

But why can't he wear those feet protectors when he knows he'll stand in front of shots all day long?
