You haven't seen enough sick dekes and goals from Pav to believe he knows what he's doing? Actually it almost looks like he's going for his signature Turco-move but changes it up last second. I was always under the impression that once you turned your back to the goalie the shot was over though? from the nhl rulebook The spin-o-rama type move where the player completes a 360° turn as he approaches the goal, shall be permitted as this involves continuous motion.
