dispite few calls, the reffing has been garbage this game

it wouldn't be so bad if Leino was good at SOMETHING. you see guys like Eaves making some good cuts, making some room and finding guys with nice passes or winning the puck in the corner or playing good defense. but I haven't seen Leino make any kind of a good play in months.

IMO, Leino's WHOLE problem is strength.

He loses battles quickly, and now I think that he knows he is not strong enough to play against most players in the NHL. He therefore gives up and doesn't put forth the effort.

If he could put on 15lbs of muscle.....

That penalty was 2 minutes for Ovechkin falling down on a good scoring chance.

To me, that's the most annoying part of the officiating (behind the consistent lack of consistency in the calls). Seriously, the refs seem to think that whenever someone falls down near an opposing player, they think that there must have heen a trip/hold/hook/fart/breath that knocked them down, instead of the player momentarily sucking at skating.

Only because he's tired of seeing Crysby getting away with it. I think he might be trying to call attention to it. To call attention to double standards in the league. I really don't believe that he is like that.
