I'm going to try and bring this team to the postseason with an early-arrival "Let's Make the Playoffs" beard. As of March 1, I will not be shaving until the Red Wings season is over. I'm not supposed to have a beard at all considering my job doesn't really allow so I can't grow it out too much. Otherwise I'd be right there with you. Thankfully I realised there are many much more important things in life. A win or a loss does not change one's quality of life. Sports teams merely offer us a way out of reality for a short time. (Yeah I am 33 and still grow patchy fuzz.) But this year I have been rocking the beard for over a month, playoffs for the Wings started in OCT it feels like.
