The irony is that his dad is a boxer, and named him Evander after Holyfield. I like this kid even more now, not only for standing up to that spot-picking cheapshot artist, but also for giving him a taste of the Marc Savard went through. You can run, but you can't hide from karma.

Which is likely why that ***** Cooke dropped the gloves in the first place. Make it even funnier.

To be clear, you never ever like to see somebody get hurt like that. But it'sf****** Matt Cooke. He doesn't belong in the game. I'm sure he'll be fine after all that but is anybody going to feel sorry for him if he has to go into retirement? I wouldn't.

He got hit square on the button. Lights out. Only other fight I have seen better than that was when stu grimson took reid simpson out with two hits.

Huge!

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting forwards, then dangles 2 defenceman, and follows it up by doing "the datsyuk" on his victims, then calmly skates back to his bench ,and goes home to his girlfriend back in the motherland.

"I assure you the hits along the boards he(Aaron Downey) constantly threw SEVERAL TIMES EVERY SHIFT were far more damaging hits that what Kronwall throws."

Evander Kane just moved to the top of my Xmas card list.

Anyone have his address?
The Vladinator He earned the NHL Plus/Minus Award in 1995-96, with a plus/minus difference of plus-60. The +60 has been the highest rating a player has finished with in the past 20 seasons, since Wayne Gretzky finished with a +70 in the 1986-87 NHL season

Should have let go off the shirt. Would've deserved it for hurting Savard.
