seeinred 1,488 Report post Posted July 5, 2010 What a shock. When I saw the original news that he collapsed, I just assumed he'd be OK for some reason. RIP, Probie. You'll be missed.

henrik40 76 Report post Posted July 5, 2010 Read ESPNs article http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=5356462 Now I know Probie had his problems, but after the man dies, is it really necessary to run the story and have the first three points in the article be those indiscretions? I haven't read any other articles on his death, so I could be overreacting, but am I wrong in being super pissed about this? LeftWinger 5,130 Report post Posted July 5, 2010 hopefully they have a bob probert night at the joe with a nice tribute or something next season. I wouldnt mind seeing #24 taken out of circulation and maybe, MAYBE, have them put a 24 sticker on their helmets for the season. Probie was one of three Red Wings that I really wished could've been part of that 1997 Cup, him, Dino & Shawn Burr... ...all the battles he fought for this team, he deserved to raise the Cup with them. 4 miller76, F.Michael, redwingfan19 and 1 other reacted to this
