Lidstrom for life 20 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 If we are shopping Drew Miller we better get a pretty damn good defenseman in return, or sign one with the cap space it opens.
cjm502 165 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Krajicek wouldnt be too bad.

Zetts 236 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) If we are shopping Drew Miller we better get a pretty damn good defenseman in return, or sign one with the cap space it opens. In a trade for Miller, we'd probably get a random prospect or a late pick. Edited August 7, 2010 by Zetts

Jesusberg 1,256 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Lukas Krajicek isn't overly physical, and he doesn't block a ton of shots. He's also got absolutely zero offensive upside. No thanks.

redwingfan19 293 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 all for trading miller but don't expect nothing more than a 5th or a low level prospect
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 No thanks to Krajicek. We'll get a draft pick for Miller, that's about it. How about Willie Mitchell?
newfy 695 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 all for trading miller but don't expect nothing more than a 5th or a low level prospect Miller + a pick could land us a decent 6th defenseman. A guy like Brookbank
Seraph 240 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 I'd love to see Downey make the team, just because he's such a good dude. That said, hopefully he'll come back with some more refined skills because he'll need it. Keep at it man and skate hard. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Sheldon Brookbank would fit the bill of what we need. Why on earth would Kenny even consider Lukas Krajicek?
redwingfan19 293 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Miller + a pick could land us a decent 6th defenseman. A guy like Brookbank not sure if the ducks would want him back though. I think miller alone could get us brookbank if the ducks wanted him.
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Yeah that's the problem, Miller could be a 13th/14th forward in Anaheim, though. I think Dan Sexton has a regular spot in their lineup this year, so there's little, if any, spots to be had In Anaheim.
crispychris 45 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 I don't know what is going on with him or if we have the space, but I would love to get Evgeny Artyukhin. I think he would do well in Detroit
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 Evgeny Artyukhin takes far too many lazy penalties to play in Detroit. He's so undisciplined, Anaheim couldn't deal with him and eventually traded him..ANAHEIM..think about it. 2 crispychris and 13dangledangle reacted to this
Lidstrom for life 20 Report post Posted August 7, 2010

LMAO!! Put the bottle down my friend. I am not saying I expect that to happen I am saying that is the only way I would approve of trading Miller.
miller76 463 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 How about trading Miller for a prospect and a pick. And just sign Abdelkader already. Then we could have a decent buffer, to start with.

Lidstrom for life 20 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) well your going to be disappointed then I guess my original post was misleading. By "pretty damn good" I didn't mean Shea Weber, I meant a solid #5 or 6 defender. I am pretty optimistic that if we traded Miller we would be able to either A) trade Miller for that type of guy or B) sign a free agent that fits that bill if we shed Miller's salary. I think I over reacted to the idea that we might trade Miller. It made me sad. Edited August 7, 2010 by Lidstrom for life

Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted August 7, 2010 True, I think there are better options out there. Arron Asham is my top choice but its not looking likely at all.
