truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Bertuzzi is currently #1 in the NHL in +/- I am convinced Detroit has started implanting cybernetic parts into our older players.
j.hoop 64 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 OT/SO here we gooooo hahaha oh mindfly and I'm out of patience with Hudler. He just ruined an offensive zone possession by giving away the puck immediately after the faceoff. stop whining!!

truebladearmy 33 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Lidstrom at 1.06 Points per game, even without a point tonight. Rafalski is at 1.00 points per game. That gives us two defenseman on pace to break 80 points. They are ranked 1st and 3rd respectively in PPG so far for defenseman. Datsyuk and Zetterberg on pace for a 90+ point season, but unless they pick it up a little offensively they're shy of a 100+ season. Bertuzzi and Cleary on pace for 80+ points Franzen on pace for 70 points. Even Abdelkader would be on pace for a 50 point season. Note: These stats off their PPG production, if they had played a full 82 games. Some people are already shy on games due to injury and surgery (Rafalski, for example). But damn, we have some depth this year. Complete opposite of last years start. 2 Konnan511 and Vladifan reacted to this
hoogs 8 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Ericsson with a +2 tonight. Now +5 in 8 games played this season. He's looking very solid defensively and made some nice passes as well tonight. Ericsson looked really good tonight, and I'm usually a Ericsson hater.
ACallToArms 270 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Just got back from the game. 3rd period was awesome. The Joe was pretty sleepy most of the game. That 3rd period really woke the place up, everyone was on their feet. Fun game to watch, even though I thought the Blues outplayed us the first two periods. Wingzman91 134 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 I'm thinking they are going to use Conklin next time Howard was big for us and kept us in this game, the real Calder winner is playing in Detroit.
Kira 451 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 I went out to dinner with friends and missed all but the third period. Oh what fun that was to watch! Now will they play that good Friday night when we're there celebrating my hubby's birthday? I sure hope so!

plopster 136 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 How about that Danny Cleary? He is on fire. I have to admit I had my doubts about him after last season. But he seems to be 100% now. Freaking awesome. Go Wings! Whooooo!!!
Zion 93 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 I thought the consensus was we hated Dan Cleary and wanted him to waive his NTC so we could get Ben Eager? Best birthday present: A Wings victory on my SlingBox in HD waiting for me to get off of work...
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Ericsson looked really good tonight, and I'm usually a Ericsson hater. Ericsson has looked REALLY good. It's like night and day from last season and the start of this season. He's starting to remind me a bit of a younger Kronwall. Ericsson might be the real deal after all. cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 The play-by-play radio announcer on KMOX was moaning about how "countless" penalties against Lidstrom could have been called in the game.

Ram 240 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Is anyone else very impressed with the DRW's play so far this season? I knew we had a chance to be good (and I'm not taking anything for granted, especially after last season) but it is just good to see them doing well thus far. Guest mindfly Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Ups and downs but generally pretty sloppy but the difference is this season they got more depth and scoring power so they will win games that way instead
Rivalred 630 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Ups and downs but generally pretty sloppy but the difference is this season they got more depth and scoring power so they will win games that way instead It will take some time for the D to get going. I do not think rotating people in and out is helping matters. Also, the top line was burnt a few times last night. The Blues have talent and were out shooting us... Guest mindfly Report post Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) They were also missing Oshie, Perron (top 6 forwards), Polak, Jackman (top4 defensemen), their complete healthy squad and in their barn will be a real test for the wings... Was long time ago Z&D had awesome games at the same time, Z scored a nice goal, and pavel had two somewhat flukey assists but most of the night they got pwnd by blues 1st line... i wanna see eurotwins take over games like they did in 07/08 and franzen just gotta figure his s*** out... filppula is also kinda invisible... hudler... needless to say anything about him.. Fully aware of the injuries. I think your expectations are not fully realistic.

ACallToArms 270 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but did anyone notice that Karen Newman was wearing one of the practice jerseys with the Amway patch on it during the national anthem? I'm sure she wasn't wearing it by choice, but I like how the Amway patch was conveniently covered up by her hair I wonder if she did that on purpose.

Also, the top line was burnt a few times last night. The Blues have talent and were out shooting us... well the nice thing is, when the first line wasnt having their best night (which happens) we got 4 goals from our bottom 2 lines. i agree that the blues are very good this year though.
