aside from tonight, I agree. I am just playing along with the crowd here. You dismiss any goalie who isn't perfect at the moment, and ignore his performance the rest of the year.

Bad news for Howard is that those goals were significantly worse goals to give up than he gave up in the last game when he got pulled and given a game off. Not the worst goals against, but really two goals he could have and should have stopped. He had no chance in the last game and again, I was surprised he was pulled at that point, but it's been worse tonight already.

So...Since the wings hardly ever show up to play the 1st period and I have to pay for the Center Ice Package...I wonder if I could negotiate with my local cable company to only play the 2nd and 3rd periods. This would save me a lot of money and time screaming at the TV. Any thoughts?

I mean this with no disrespect to the Wings or any of you, but you guys have the most biased broadcast crew in the NHL. I have Center Ice and watch every team's broadcast crew, so I know. I have watch every wing game this season.
Minny has the biggest a-holes for commentators, but your broadcast crew, (especially with Mickey) is UNBELIEVABLY cocky. They rarely discuss the other team. If Lidstrom poke checks a guy, they go nuts and talk about it for the next 5 minutes. Yeah, Lidstrom is the best, but coome on!
And for some reason, they avoid talking about the Canucks at all costs. They can't stand the thought of the Nucks being ahead of them in the standings.

Considering the fact that Vancouver is a perennial choker, close to the likes of San Jose, we just don't give a crap.

Jimmy Howard's positioning and technique is absolutely horrendous right now.

I know the defense isn't playing up to par, but a starting goaltender needs to stop both of those goals. He was badly out of position for each one. I don't think that break worked Babs.

It's mainly the first one that I question his decision making. It looked like the puck was loose around the net and he sort of flopped forward, but had little chance of getting it.

Word may also be out this season that shooting low often leads to juicy rebounds off the leg pads. Not really sure. But it seems like Jimmy is struggling with some rebound control again.

And since I'm daring to talk about goaltenders, I'll also say that team defense is a major problem. It's not just on Jimmy. But he's not been looking right.

They are the least biased in the NHL. Maybe along with the Kings. But the Kings announcers are dumb.

Not only are they mind-numbingly idiotic, they are incredibly homeristic. Pretty much all the California teams have HORRIBLE play calling tandems.

So let me guess the Nucks announcers talk about the Wings during every single Nucks games. Any team announcer will talk about their team the most and the team they are playing that night the rest of the time. So if I watch a Nucks game, that the Wings aren't playing them, and not hear their announcers not talk about the Wings then can I piss about it?

They talked 5 minutes about a Lidstrom poke check? Exaggerate much?

Why would they talk about the Canucks, what have they done spectacular? Absolutly nothing. They are what, a whopping 2 points ahead of the Wings after only 39 games played... (and Red Wings are missing Datsyuk, Cleary, Filppula, Modano)

Yeah, we should all be wetting ourselves over the Canucks spectacular season. We all know Canucks are playoff jokes, regular season 2 point lead is all you have. Have fun with that

When Red Wings get healthy and start dominating again, Canuck fans won't have anything to jerk off to....
