Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Brett Favre 2.0 Sigh... I hate this comparison. Forsberg's been at it longer.
ben_usmc 253 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Sigh... I hate this comparison. Forsberg's been at it longer. yeah but forsberg has also had to leave because of injuries not ego. Can't wait to see Federov comeback next, perhaps Sundin would like to give a go. Hell maybe Yzerman can help Stamkos on the ice as well. St. Michael (the Red Wing) 422 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Too bad he didn't have to pass through waivers first. I'm sure someone would have stamped him...

GMRwings1983 8,803 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 I'll never forget when this stupid jake joined them in 2008 and we had that playoff series against them. Classic. This doesn't change anything in the West. They're still a big underdog compared to the other teams in the Conference. 1 Vladifan reacted to this
Wingzman91 134 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 This is going to flop, he was just saying this summer that he could not use his ankle for competative sports anymore. 30 games and then a position with the club, like Chelios, Conroy, etc....
GMRwings1983 8,803 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 OK, so let's begin. What's the over/under on how many games he plays before he's injured? I say 8 games.

Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Floppa has returned to the Divealanche. The 90s are back! I think I'll put on my NSYNC cd, go watch an episode of Seinfeld, and wonder if Bill Clinton can get re-elected, all the while finishing up my Algebra II - Trig homework. Wings_Toledo 233 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Like him or not, he was once one of the most exciting players in the league. I don't think his foot will hold up for long, though. Long-term medical issues like he's been having don't just suddenly go away for good.
titanium2 867 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 Perhaps the medical field has found a way for Forsberg to play hockey again?

F2B&G 15 Report post Posted February 6, 2011 No but he couldn't realize when he needs to hang them up, haha if you cant see similarities there then you really are the ******* idiot. If he were truly Brett Favre-ing it, he'd have signed with us and texted nude photos one of Carolina's ice girls. Still, this is a little ridiculous. He'll probably eff up his ankle again soon enough.
