GSBrooks13 204 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Well, I think we can at least expect a better performance than last time against LA. I will be happy to see Zetterberg hit that 50 assist mark.

MulesWillFly93 199 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 I won't be going to this one - the "boo" reason is because I'm working until 8, but the "yay" reason is because I'm going to be seeing them play the Pens at the one and only Joe in 3 weeks!! I agree, it's payback time for December! I like the Kings, as far as other hockey teams go, but not when they beat my Wings, so let's kick some black and purple butt and make them just a little more black and purple! 1 RWRNHZ40 reacted to this

ACallToArms 270 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 I'm nervous about this one, the Kings seem to have the Wing's number this season. We need a win here to get some momentum going for the road trip, and we're beyond due for giving the King's a proper beatdown. 4-3 Wings.

zombi 43 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Won't Bernier get the start because of back-to-back games for the Kings? If not, then I guess they just can't afford to risk a loss. Ah well, Quick let in 3 goals on 17 shots yesterday against the Avs. Go Wings!
55fan 5,133 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Kings have 4 20-goal scorers? Let's not inflate their stats. Wings get confused by the time change and accidentally show up at the start of the first period. By the time they realize their mistake, they are ahead and forget to float whilst sitting on the lead. The Kings do not recognize such tactics from those adorned with the Winged Wheel, and assume that the skaters on the ice are impostors. Since no one plays as well as the Wings, the Kings slack off, allowing the Wings to whip them handily 2,398,398,238,860-2. Go WINgs!
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Let's all hope for the other Quick to show up. Basically not the one that did show up for the December game I unfortunately had to be at. How about get a lead, keep that lead, and play Red Wings puck control hockey!!!!! 3-2 Wings (Flip, Huds-again lol, and Datsyuk with GWG) Edited February 28, 2011 by HankthaTank
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted February 28, 2011 Won't Bernier get the start because of back-to-back games for the Kings? If not, then I guess they just can't afford to risk a loss. Ah well, Quick let in 3 goals on 17 shots yesterday against the Avs. Go Wings! Quick actually played well that game. They dominated the Avs for two plus periods, then fell asleep in the third. The only goal that was really his fault was when he misplayed the puck behind his own net. Quick is a very good goaltender, but has the puckhandling skills of Hasek.
