55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 Kronwall What a man. I'm glad he got it. He's always done well in interviews and I've heard he is taking on more of a leadership role in the locker room. Great fit with the other fellows as well. Congrats, Nik! 2 Vladifan and Red Wings Addict reacted to this
mmamolo 287 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 I think he was the best choice to take on an 'A' this year. Plus, he's just awesome anyway
Red Wings Addict 787 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 One of my favorite Kronwall moments: "Did you see what he did to Dany Heatley? ... I just wish I was lined up against Kronwall." -Ryane Clowe Later on in that series... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weFx9DMiros And actually, earlier on in the year... Can't wait for the next one! 7 InKennyWeTrust, Bramsy, roboturner and 4 others reacted to this
Jedi 1,865 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 Good choice. He's very articulate, and is easy to understand (not a knock against Datsyuk). And he's really stepped up his game and on-ice leadership. Hopefully he thrives with it!
Guest 13GoWings40 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 Kronwall is a good choice. This makes me think the Wings brass really has confidence in number #55 becoming the leader of the blue-line after the day of which we won't speak.

esteef 2,679 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 This is why I like Miller, he knows half the guys in this scrum are ******* and he's not letting them get any free gloves to the face. esteef 1 Bramsy reacted to this

Travis 576 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 The fact that he is rotating with Dats, while Z has a full time "A" leads to this, post Lidstrom: C - Zetterberg A - Datsyuk A - Kronwall Yeah, Kronner is obviously a favorite of mine and I've thought for some time now that our captain situation will look exactly like that when the time comes. BigWillieStyle 662 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 Congratulations to Lil' Nik. Of course I still want to believe that he wears the 'A' as the designated Annihilator. 3 55fan, Tim.D and Hockeymom1960 reacted to this
rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted October 7, 2011 That was the assumption around here when Lidstrom got the C. Agreed. But there has been some lingering debate on Z vs D for the C.

Bambino Lino 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2011 I dig Kronwall getting the A. Hopefully he continues to be a physical leader on this team while being productive on defence.
