Solid defense.

+1

This team has some offensive kinks to work out for sure, but it's not like they're losing games 1-0 or 1-2. 7 goals to Washington, 4 goals to the lowly Bluejackets, and while 3 goals to the Sharks isn't terrible, Jimmy had to make some huge stops and the Thornton breakaway was a killer.

If they get the defensive system sorted out, this team can be scary good again.

Win or else the servers on this site will crash with the doom and gloom. Matt will be left with nothing but a smoking hull of what was once his glorious website.

A good chance for the Wings to get back on the winning road. Thanks to living in deep south Georgia I have to watch the game on some sketchy streaming site.

Wow. The Wild's record is 3-3-3? That's just odd.

Let's win this one, just for a change of pace.

Thanks for the GDT Mike.

Jimmy's in net again, hopefully we'll play better tonight.

Go Wings!!!

More like the Wings as a team need to play better.

Correct. I thought Jimmy played pretty well last night, aside from his failure to score a goal. That might be better left to some other people I could mention.

Wings will win. No worries here!

This team is draining me emotionally.

Maybe if we had a 3 and 5 start I would feel this way. It will be ok man.

Nice GDT, Mike, thank you, by the way.

Who else thinks their Jumbotron looks like a giant pint of Ben and Jerry's ice cream? :D

I don't care if it's an ugly, sloppy win that requires a shootout. (Wait? Wings win in a shootout? Huh?). But yeah, don't care. Just get the two points.

If we lose tonight, I propose Matt shut the site down until the next game, because this place will be unbearable.

Alright, the last game our big guns stepped it up like I wanted to but obviously that's not enough to win. Pretty much the way the Sharks series went in the playoffs. Here's to a full game effort from the whole team, not only from the big guns and the younguns, but all of em!

Red Wings 4 (Datsyuk, Helm, Franzen, Hudler)

Wild 2

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!
