Crosby is only a few points away from catching Zetterberg in points this season.

I just spit pumpkin cream cheese cake all over my keyboard. You ass.
I laughed out loud in my Media Law class and my teacher asked me if I was special.

pierre mcquire ACTUALLY just said "imagine for nilsson, one day he can tell his grandkids, 'i gave up crosby's first goal back.'"...please tell me somebody else heard that
I'm surprised he could get any words out, what with Crosby's balls resting against his chin all the time.

"Forwards, not backwards! Upwards, not forwards! And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!"

I mean with all due respect to Chicago, Vancouver, Washington and San Jose, I think it may be a good idea to cap the season here and now.

And still 27 away from being close to not costing you a set of monopoly money. Crosby's goal was nice, but Orpik's was terrible.Crosby is only a few points away from catching Zetterberg in points this season.

I laughed. I agree with you, though, Crosby will lead the league in points by the end of the season.

This made me laugh even more!

Idk which media outlets you chose to watch but all I heard about for the past 2-4 months was either 1) he might retire 2) what would that mean to hockey 3) he was at practice 4) he remembered how to tie his skates 5) he was doing contact again from players duct taped with pillows 6) he was coming back.
He wasn't playing and I heard more about him than any other hockey player.

Anyone know if the Cup is in the building tonight?

Do we really have to respect San Jose?

Well a passing statement is better than what is going to happen tonight and tomorrow. The entire hockey media is going to be blowing the guy for the rest of the season. I much prefer a NHL w/o Crosby than one with him. I could care less how good he is. I hate Tebow, the Yankees and the Cowboys for the same reason. Ridiculous media coverage for no good reason.

Very true. I don't hate the Yankees, I don't hate Tebow but I do hate the Cowboys and Crosby is good for the NHL. He brings in new fans etc. etc. However, the media are going to suck his **** for as long as he has one and whips it out. He is good for the NHL, just not good for anyone who wants decent journalism about the sport.
