Apparently I have to state it again:

He was complimenting them on a good line change. Did you notice afterwards how he stated the Lightning were slow to change their players which is why the Wings ended up scoring?

He was praising the Wings, he did say something like..."slow change for Tampa, good change for the Wings." However, I was kind of caught off guard when he made mention of the 8 guys on the ice...maybe he was pointing out they had a good wholesale change? It's not too many men just because they are all on the ice, only if they affect the play.

In personal conversations, he knows he better be nice, otherwise he will face consequences

It's different though, when he is commenting on tv
