I swear to God I was just talking about this last night at the bar with my friend.
He said Quincey was nothing special... trying to varify myself.
A part of a three team trade.... too bad I would rather have had Downie for that price. There has to be more to this deal... Quincey is not worth a first... I wonder if Kindl is on the move.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

Yes please! I was really bummed to see him leave, although at the time he really deserved to be playing regular minutes in the NHL instead of playing a few games here and there between grand rapids stints. He's had time to develop in the NHL into a solid defenseman and I'm happy to have him back, if true.
A first round pick might seem heavy for someone that we had just a few years ago, but I think it's worth it, given the position were in, the fact that Quincey is still young, still has upside, and draft picks are never a guaranteed NHL player; even 1st rounders. I'll take it.

He's still just 26 and he's an upgrade over Ericsson, Kindl and Commodore. I'd say he's worth of a late first rounder.
