I stumbled onto this interview from bleacher report with Darren McCarty from last October.  I don't remember anyone mentioning it on the forums and it was an entertaining read.  Seeing as he's a fan favorite, I thought it would be a good article to share.

Also, if anyone knows what happened at the Gretzky house in LA please share!

Thanks for this!  One of my all-time favorite Wings!  I love the one dollar Canadian comment!

What happens at the Gretzky house, stays at the Gretzky house.

So- it said he was "enjoying married life".  Who's the lucky girl?  Last I heard he was divorced.

Thanks for sharing.  That was cool. I love that guy.

Legend.

"If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of the potential, for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints, possibility never. And what wine is so sparkling, what so fragrant, what so intoxicating, as possibility!" - Kierkegaard

Add DMac to Twitter, he's got pictures of his wife on there, and he has a step daughter.

Edit: Anyone else think it's weird seeing Emmerton wearing 25?

This bothers me a lot, actually.

Thanks.  I don't twitter, but at least I know that he's still around out there.

He's my love.  Emmerton should have been taken out and horsewhipped for wearing that number.

Great read. Slava Kozlov: "F*** you, Mac." is my favourite part.

"Why do people say 'grow some balls'? Balls are weak and sensitive.
If you wanna be tough, grow a p***y. Those things can take a pounding"

-- Betty White

"Finger-pointing is easy. In some cases, even therapeutic. Fans need to blame something,

because the outcome is so frustratingly out of their control."

24, 25, and 26 need to be off-limits. Not retired, but kind of like Konstantinov's 16.

"He was huge. He was Chara before Chara" on Derian Hatcher, his least favorite player to play against.

Good stuff, D-Mac!
