Did Abdelkader, or anyone else on the team for that matter, pay any attention to what happened when he drove hard on the net against Anaheim? It's like that little nugget of success just somehow got lost in the fray.

As soon as we get close to the other teams' net we lose all confidence. Looks like everyone has forgotten how to score goals and are overthinking everything.

Agreed. It could also mean they choke up because they're trying too hard.

I notice the incredibly underwhelming season he's had this year.

Kindl and Lashoff have both outplayed him, and neither was supposed to even play that much this year.

Watching peoples' comments around here, it's like Jiri Fischer all over again. His level of play this season is no surprise and you can rest assured that he'll get much, much better over the coming years.

He's gone from pre-season Calder Trophy favourite to whipping boy. Classic LGW superstar-or-useless mentality.

Watching peoples' comments around here, it's like Jiri Fischer all over again. His level of play this season is no surprise and you can rest assured that he'll get much, much better over the coming years.
