Tell that to all those awful teams that upset the Wings in the playoffs the past 20 years.

If they made the playoffs they weren't all that awful. Ya know?

Wings don't look like they want to make the playoffs that bad. Or they just have a near-terminal case of Durpitis.

Detroit Derpwings?

Also:

WE LIKE OUR TEAM. derp.

At least Howard wants to win.

He is the only one...besides us fans.

And if this team makes the playoffs they're suddenly not awful?

Every professional athlete wants to win. Do you think they want to lose? It's a team full of mediocre plugs, rookies, and Datsyuk and Zetterberg. They get outclassed in these games because the opposing teams actual deal in real talent, and put together competitive lineups. We, on the other hand, always look for the cheap "if" solution. "Well if Miller can find some offense...". "Well if Abby can play like Homer...". "Well if Kronwall can tighten up defensively...". And on and on and on.

Good thing we're sitting White and Cola.... :glare:

Yeah... that's the problem. Needs more White and Cola...

This team needs to work so much harder, and worlds smarter. Whether its "plugs" versus great players/starters, it doesn't excuse the effort, especially from our top guys.

Given the way they're playing that's a pretty big "if".

You're right, no one wants to lose. What you don't seem to want to accept is that not everyone is willing to do what is needed to win. The Wings look flat, complacent, and sloppy, top to bottom. Its all avoidable, but they seem indifferent to changing their ways.

This season it really feels almost hopeless as soon as they fall behind. Hoping they find a way to actually put that round rubber thing into the net this game.

Your act is so old around here..you troll when they are losing and as soon as we win a couple of games you disappear.....I will give you one thing at least you know you're troll.

Do the wings use rubber sticks? Is that why passes always bounce off their sticks?

lets get more straight line passes up the boards to a guy that's covered in the neutral zone instead of the guy cutting up the middle with speed.....f***.

If it was all about the "plugs" in the roster, that would be one thing. Our best players have been our most inconsistent lately, and have made some of our most costly mistakes. This team isn't with it right now, when they need to be their most together. That means everyone. Not just the replacements or "plugs".
