Drew Miller breaks hand, done for the year

This thread is pathetic. Wishing injuries on players on a team you supposedly root for? It's a hockey game, guys. These athletes to us are human beings with families.

Shame about Miller. Always plays hard and is a very valuable forward on the PK.

A quick 2 day flu for cleary isn't that bad... we can bring Tatar up and not send him down.

The article is vague and doesn't necessarily say an additional injury is needed beyond Miller but, either way Holland's overloading of our lineup with plugs is going to hurt us. Nice.

From the main page of Mlive right below the article saying Miller is injured:

Detroit has 12 healthy forwards, so it would need another injury to recall somebody on an emergency basis from Grand Rapids.

Correct, but the originally linked article didn't say ANOTHER injury and still doesn't. You can also notice that it's crystal clear as people in this thread and in the comments section below the originally linked article are calling for Tatar to be brought up. But thanks.

That's fine, I wasn't trying to call you out or question your reading comprehension. I think it was just clearer to me beacuse the first thing I read was the bit on the front page (quoted in my last post) that, in reference to Miller's injury, does explicitly state "another injury". Just trying to clarify.

Look at the Flames roster. They called up seven (!!!) players but Wings can't recall one? Just a bad joke?

Abbotsford's season is done, they didn't make the playoffs. Detroit would have been free to do the same had Grand Rapids not qualified.

I wish for non life threatening injuries, the kind that would allow them to spend more time with their families instead of playing hockey... if that helps.

Drew may have played his last game for us as well...sad, I do like a successful story of a local kid playing for his local team, but being a UFA and having Eaves already under contract for another year as well as having to give Andersson and Brunner contracts (which they have both earned) along with Nyquist needing a spot next year, things are crowded already up front...
