3 things I liked:

Watching Nyquist's confidence and his overall game grow more and more.

I think Big E is really rounding into a very solid defenseman.

Jiri Hudler or Robert Lang didn't take any hooking penalties.

But Hudler and Lang are still lazy and suck...

We're learning lessons the hard way I suppose. Earlier we learned not to stop playing with a 4-0 lead. Now we've learned the importance of getting ahead when you have a chance, after blowing that major powerplay. Overall we are exceeding everyone's expectations (especially LGW's doom and gloom expectations). Whatever happens this year will make us better for next year.

3rd line was our best line all game... We only have 3 NHL level defenseman they can't be out the whole game. Kindl is worse than a rookie

Our D has cost us another game that we played well enough to win. Has Smith had a single good game in the NHL? He's a waste of space might as well be playing for the ducks. But keep giving him to 4 minutes

Who else deserves it... Quincey? Lashoff? Our D hasn't been strong all season. We have 2-3 rookie D in a night and Kindl who is basically a rookie with the lack of minutes he played last season. It's called growing pains. We can't pull a random top 4 dman out of a hat. The only Way the kids learn how to play the game is by throwing them on the ice..

I know people were expecting smith to show up, throw up 30+ points and be decent in our own zone as well but I promise you. If we give up on him. We will regret it... Just like with kindl and big rig... Weird how after a couple season we start praising these guys... D develop later is a common thing. We don't have the luxury of drafting the Seth jones, PK subbans, mike greens...

Can't Babcock see how bad someone is playing and lower their ice time. He just rolls out these defensive pairing that are consistently giving up golden scoring chances

Besides Kronwall and E on the top pairing, the other two pairings are going to have inexperience and tough moments no matter how you move the four players around. Even Quincey getting more minutes isn't necessarily a positive.

Losing DeKeyser was a massive blow.

And not to nitpick but Kindl is in his 3rd season on the wings and has over 150 NHL games under his belt. He's not exactly a rookie.

I assume your talking about White who is nothing with out Lids... He is horrible on D and can't put up numbers with out lidstrom... And glass house colie is the other one???

because dispite what you may think THIS team did make the playoffs when they were written out awhile ago and THIS team is going toe to toe with the 2nd seeded ducks we aren't done yet we have taken every other game and got to game 6 I stand by them as a true fan even if they don't win game 6 ill be back next season

Yeah, Q has been looking pretty irrelevant out there. Not really a game-changer.

I am still excited whenever I think of DeKesyer's potential. I mean, the fact that we are missing this guy so badly...and noticeably...speaks volumes.

He was showing confidence in them. Honestly the OT goal wasn't on them. Andersson had his man, he just missed the stick. Crappy development but what can you do? Andersson had another great game.
