GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Because he's a damn good hockey player, that deserves to be an everyday player on this team... or he's going to be a start elsewhere, rather than here. Absolutely agree. Tatar has really clicked with Abby and Andersson too the past few games. I'm fine with a third line role for now -- Nyquist and Brunner flourished there with Andersson and Tatar can do the same. I don't see Tatar being scratched any time soon again with the way he has been playing. 1 brandon27 reacted to this

Helm and Tatar play with drive and passion, Franzen does not(wish Babs could find a way to motivate him) 1 brandon27 reacted to this

Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Let's not sit on this lead like we did, um, last night.
RaisedOnHockeytown 17 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 I think our energy would have been totally different if we had thrown away last night's game. That win coupled with Helm's return is the best kind of motivation, the kind that comes from internal confidence and passion. 1 datterberg1340 reacted to this

brandon27 111 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 and that question would be "Why oh lord do Kenny and Babs keep coddling our washed up vets?" same here Well, in a way I get it... we like to play solid, winning hockey. Young players make mistakes. Let them learn in the system the right way, our way, and let them ripen. To do that, you have to hang onto the vets who know the system, you know limit the mistakes. Young guys are always going to make the mistakes, we want to limit that. However I agree, at some point in time... you need to move on. That time is now, actually it was last year IMO for some of these older guys on the roster, and these young guys ready to move it on up, before we loose them. 1 datterberg1340 reacted to this

Rhah 195 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Dekeyser one timer from point went wide and goalie either pulled groin stretching to make save or it actually clipped him and hit him somewhere.
brandon27 111 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 whoa what happened to edm's goalie? I'd guess groin related as he came across to face that wide shot from Dekeyser? Seemed weird...
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted November 3, 2013 Did Schulz just walk away as Bachman was struggling, or did I see that wrong?
