Not as far as I know. I read somewhere that they always played the Canadian anthem out of general respect and not started just because of the shootings.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Wings always allow a guy on the right side to take the puck to the net for a good scoring chance against us? The D literally cuts back right to the middle and gives away a ton of room. Seems it happens every game.

The biggest problem is Danny D is hesitating too much at the point. He never knows when to shoot or pass it and when he does shoot, he doesn't get enough on it and it gets blocked. I really wish Babs would just give Smith a chance on that 2nd PP unit. I truly think it would make a huge difference.

I agree I have no idea why they try to let DeKeyser run that PP, he is clearly not up to it. The man has zero offensive instincts.

They started off slow but the last half of the period the wings picked it up and controlled things. Pav especially looks really good tonight again. Goose looks good too. Everyone else started to pick it up so hopefully it carries over into the 2nd and 3rd periods.
