Here we go again, "Florida is a non tax State, so they have an unfair advantage"

Living in Canada is very interesting, a Florida team has made it to the Cup Final 5 years in a row, and Canadian hoceky fans are complaining, again, about Florida being a non tax State. They think since Canadians pay high taxes, their hockey teams should have a higher cap ceiling than teams like Florida or Tampa. There's never any mention about Dubas giving Toronto's 4 top forwards whatever they wanted, leaving no money for the Defence.

If the League decided to give a higher cap ceiling to teams in high taxed areas, the teams in California, New York, and Illinois would be allowed to spend more too. These Canadian hockey fans don't seem to understand what they're complaining about.

I do remember a team in Illinois winning 3 Stanley Cups in 6 years not too long ago, in their high taxed State. The Blackhawks did very well, despite their huge disadvantage, ha

Canadians, ugh! And I say that as a Canadian.

The cheapest Canadian City has higher taxes then the State of California, Hence why most Americans don't want to play there unless they're drafted in Canada.

>taxes
>no guns
>gov controlled alcohol
>felony DUI

The leaf sold his freedom for a tiddly wink of safety

When the NA race wars start we will side with our machismo amigos down south. Leafs get the rake.

Canadian hockey is dying, while American hockey is growing rapidly. Thank you Gary Blesshim.

Maybe they can start un-aliving some politicians until they decide to lower taxes, and the kids can afford pads again. But I guess you would need spooky guns for that :scared:
