Mo Seider wouldn't do this.  Mo Seider drops the gloves and kicks some ass.

What a ******* animal.  I creamed my pants twice during this fight.

>be Forsberg

>lemme try this steal

>darn it's a board battle

>oh no i lost the battle because the bigger stronger guy used the body on me

>guess i better throw a weak gloved punch to the face of the guy who other players literally bounce off of when they hit him

To forsbergs credit he got a couple good swings in when Mo was still trying to get his gloves off and establish his footing. But once Mo did that he took over the fight. Good on Forsberg for not going down either.

Was a cool hockey fight.  For Americans, this is like a sophomore girls field hockey scuffle.  But for Euros, this is like Hagler vs Hearns.  Seider's left uppercut towards the end of it was a cool punch you don't see much in hockey fights.  That's when Forsberg was like, "you know what...I think I'm good."

1 of the few times I'd cheer for the Oilers was while watching Kassian beat up Tkachuk.

Kassian went HARD on Tkachuk. Pretty brutal beatdown. If I recall correctly that fight started because earlier in the game Tkachuk put a pretty predatory hit on Kassian behind the net?

Yup - Tkachuk got under Kassian’s skin multiple times and Kassian would lose it…Very entertaining.

He was SOOOO good at rustling the jimmies of Doughty and Kassian in his Calgary days. Two grown ass vets losing their marbles over an 18-20 year old kid. I lost some respect for those two during those years. They would have their lil freakout and then Tkachuk would just do the same antagonistic crap the very next play. It's like bros... HE WANTS YOU TO REACT LIKE THAT. That reaction is only going to show him it's working and he'll do it MORE. Learn to keep your composure...

I have a lot of respect for Matt Tkachuk because of those years too. Agree with his approach to the game or not, there's pretty much no one too big or bad that he won't fuqq with. And he's never dissuaded from playing that way by a fight or scrum. He just does it again. Kid plays the way he's gonna play and doesn't change it for anybody.

Yup - would love to have the Tkachuk bros on the Red Wings any day…Skilled, competitive, and absolute d-bags on the ice.
