Motte is a complete waste of a roster spot, so this is good.  Fischer isn't much more.

 

Danielson for Fischer

Kasper for Motte

ASP for The Dildo

Johansson for the Butt Plug

Wallinder or Buium for the Ball Gag

 

If you don't think this is the right thing to do, ask yourself what happens if we waive the sex toys?  Same thing that happened with Holl and Husso.  They don't get claimed and they go somewhere else.  The Red Wings are 6 years into the YyzerSCAM.  They should not have a single player on their team that another team wouldn't want to pick up if placed on waivers.  I could see that in years 1 thru 3.  You gotta supplement the 4 decent guys we had with some vets.  Fine.  But this is year 6.  Every player on our team needs to be a valuable piece.  Right now, we have 2 out of 3 goalies that are TRASH, 3 out of 6 defensemen that are TRASH, and 2 forwards that are TRASH.  WTF is the SCAM waiting for?  Do we really need to finish WORSE than last year before everybody admits to playing TRASH when you have a top 5 prospect pool being a bad idea?  GDI.

Probs exactly what this team needs. Kasper has been playing like a nasty SOB in GR and already has an AHL fight under his belt after agitating away from the play. 

Wings are lifeless and play scared. Send this testosterone fueled lad in there to reverse that course. 

Was reading about Kasper's early childhood growing up in Austria. Interestingly enough, his passion growing up was painting. But he was rejected from art school by a man who was later discovered to be a child predator. So instead he took up hockey and swore to hip check any predators he came across. Not sure if this fact helps us against Nashville tomorrow or not.

Concur.

You all know what I wanted.  Too bad I'm not GM and Coach.  This team would lose still, but you'd be seeing our 1st and 2nd round picks get the experience instead of TRASH.

Exactly what every team wants their top prospects exposed to early in development - handed a spot on a losing team. Noone would argue that Kasper is better then Motte Danielson is better then Fischer and ASP is better then Petry but its not about this season its about longterm development. Is it better for them to get 10 mins a night bottom of the lineup no special teams on a losing team or 20 mins a night top 6 all situations on a winning team?
