Sad to think how good we'd be if we had Broberg-ASP and Holloway instead of Chiarot-Petry and Motte.  We'd be a contender.

As of this game, here's our lineup soley based on ES ice time Derek is alloting to each player:

Debrincat - Larkin - Raymond

Copp - Compher - Kane

Veleno - Kasper - Tarasenko

Berggren - Rasmussen - Fischer

Motte - Watson

 

Edvinsson - Seider

Chiarot - Holl

Maata - Petry

Gustafsson - Johansson

 

Holl seems to be gaining the trust of his coach. Petry looks like he's actually being phased out, which is good. Gustafsson seems to be an unfortunate add for us, but he's being heavily deployed at PP like ghost was, and we do need that. 

Derek is going back to using Larkin heavily on the PK. Which is frustrating. I thought we were finally going to be done with that. Those minutes should be afforded to Copp, Ras, Kasper, Compher, Motte, and Fischer. 

Would like to see Kasper and Tarasenko get some more ice time and push Copp and Compher down the lineup. Looks Kasper is here to stay IMO and Lyon has won the net.

Holl is better then people gave him credit including d!cknose

Gustaffson is terrible 5v5 pp he just sucks. Mo and Ed should run each pp unit.

AJo should be in the lineup over at least 3 other dmen.

Cant wait for this team to get much younger in the next 2 seasons. Replace Copp, Kane, Senko, Fisch, Motte, Watson with Danielson, Mazur, Lombo, MBN, Sodabomb and Chia, Holl, Petry, Gus, Maatta with ASP, AJo, Wally, Buium, and Husso, Talbot with Cossa. This team is gonna **** sh!t up.

I agree with these.

I didn't mind Holl last year either, he was just the oddman out on playing time, which made the contract look really bad. Now that Petry is on his way out the door he actually has a spot.

Was hoping Gustafsson was going to be a slightly less offensive, slightly more responsible, Ghost... alas he's not any better at D, and worse at offense. Shoulda just kept Ghost, or better yet led Ed develop on the PP. 

Would like to see:

Chiarot - Seider

Edvinsson - Holl

Johansson - Maata

As the perma 6 defenders for this season.

Was needed at the start of the 2023/2024. but yeah I must agree...This team continues to show no idea of what they're doing and  if it weren't for Lyon it would've been an ugly loss.
