Kindl's play has been pretty bad lately. He's committing bad turnovers and taking bad penalties. He looks way too slow and it is showing.

Hubby is not enjoying this game.

Iflip is a huge part of this teams future.  He should be called up before anyone else.

in 50 games this team is 31-13-6

5 fewer wins, 3 more losses, and 2 more OT losses.  thats not TOO far off. this team has the ability to play great hockey, we saw that in the first 2 months of the season.  im not ready to release the hounds on them like a lot of people seem to want to do, but they do have to start playing better, that much is obvious.

i agree, and it's so damn frustrating to watch right now. i think that's why a lot of us seem like we're giving up on the team.

however, this team is not even close to being as good as the '08 team. i watched every single game in '08 and the wings looked alright (most of the time) in losses.

to put it bluntly: "..or you got it, or you ain't"

'08 team 40-10-4 84 points
'11 team 32-16-6 70 points

that is far off. and besides that, it's not just about the team record. it's about how they play. if the playoffs started today the wings would lose in the first round.

you know back in the day I hated forsberg with a passion but really good on the guy for making a comeback to the game he loves so much. It really shows the dedication he has to the game. I kinda miss the old foppa cause he was sooooo sweet when he was lightin it up with the avs.

Washed up? Dude has been dominating everytime he's set his f***ed up feet on the ice in the SEL the last couple of years. Last time he was in the NHL he almost singlehandedly got the Avs into the playoffs and was a big part of them getting to the 2nd round. In the Olympics 2010 he was one of very few bright spots in the game where Sweden was eliminated against Slovakia.

Cash grab? He's been playing for FREE for Modo in the SEL. And by FREE, I mean as in getting payed NO MONEY. Not only a little bit of money. NO. MONEY. Now he has signed af****** 1 million dollar contract. Guess what, I'm sure he'd play for zero dollars if it was allowed. If this was about money he probably would have saved himself about 10 operations on his foot and just signed for a KHL team or something.

He is doing this for himself. Because he loves to play hockey. And maybe a little bit to prove to people like you that he ISN'T washed up and that he still has hockey in him.
