#1998705 Skating through the center of the ice?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 12 June 2010 - 04:56 PM

I just miss the plays between Hank and Pavs that broke the logic behind hockey ate it up, and spit it out again after they scored.

#1995348 my team

lets get rid of ritola before giving him a chance during the regular season

bert and franzen would be awesome centers too

Bert would take every draw with one hand. Every last one.

#1994864 Holmstrom signs 2 year extension

Posted by 13dangledangle on 05 June 2010 - 02:19 PM

Honestly, I could see a team like Vancouver throw a 3 mil contract at him to play for a year.

Bingo! Spot on my friend, Holmer could get alot on the open market. Its great he's staying, especially from an attitude/loyalty point of view in that they obviously are a team. I just read a new topic (I just got home a did a quick scan and came here first lol) that said Bertuzzi either stays with Wings or retire...Now that is incredible because there are probably a few teams that would like him after this past season. Though he wants to play with core group and thats freakin sweet. I love they have this connection and I hope he signs here! Im starting to believe in these guys! (again)

#1992928 Dats and Z to play together next year!

Posted by 13dangledangle on 02 June 2010 - 08:21 AM

We can only dress 12 forwards.

ahahaha(whoops)...To be honest then I'd like to say bye to Holmer and use that 2 mill else where!

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Afinogenov
Bertuzzi-Flippula-Franzen
Cleary-Abby-Hudler

Probably those Hawks trolls who have been following me around all day. :hehe:

I guess keeping the game puck is one of those unwritten rules of hockey, but like you and I said, the Hawks should have done something to Pronger in game 2 if they took exception to his keeping the game 1 puck.

Instead, they take it to the media.

Its not right to talk to the media about it after taking it dry, thats something Crosby would do!

#1992664 Pronger the Puck Thief

Wow. This guy is a complete piece of s***, no other way to describe him. Just got word that after the Hawks saluted the fans following the win, he SPIT on the INDIANHEAD. I know this may not seem like a big deal to Wings fans, but, I find that extremely offensive, disrespectful and classless. Imagine if he or someone else did something like that to the Winged Wheel. There's just no place for that in this great game. To many Chicagoans and Hawks' fans, that is like a kick to the nuts, imo. Terrible, terrible actions.

And after he took the second puck after their second straight loss to the Hawks he had the audacity to call the Hawks immature for even making it an issue. Is this guy serious? Is he 35 or 3 1/2? WOW.

edit: aparantly it was Briere during warm-ups. Either way, purely classless.

So are you going to say sorry to Pronger for calling him "a piece of s***"? after all it was Briere?
Stealing pucks, who cares, like GMR said they should have done something about. I dont love Pronger but he is good at what he does.

Words from Ken Himself...

..."I get to watch him every day," general manager Ken Holland told the team's official Web site. "I still think that Nick is the premier two-way defenseman in the world. There might be some players maybe a little bit more productive, offensively, but I think when you factor in how good Nick is defensively, how he played the last half of the year, certainly the last 30 games I still think we have one -- if not the -- best defensemen in the world. It's a great day for Red Wings' fans."....

....Sounds accurate to me

#1991065 Draper and Osgood Spotted Returning from Florida

Posted by 13dangledangle on 29 May 2010 - 12:19 PM

Interesting spin. I was just told a story by my future mother-in-law. For the record, no one involved in this story is a hockey fan so they have no interest in fabricating a story.

Turns out, a friend of hers was on a flight returning from Florida and she sat next to Kris Draper. A few rows back was Osgood.

My first thought was: Wow, that's a coincidence considering Yzerman's recent appointment.

So, with what little information I have given you:

Coincidence? Maybe returning from a vacation? Why weren't their families present then?

Just going to help Yzerman get settled in?

Paying an "official" visit?

It seems strange considering that Osgood would likely want another starting job for a team needing a goalie to work for an old friend. Draper we all expected to stay, but with the new Tampa operation and Detroit not really needing him, perhaps Holland is agreeing to part with Draper to give Yzerman some veteran talent in exchange for a role player or draft pick?

Or is it all nothing? Weird coincidence at the very least.

Who knows but I hope like hell they both go! I love them both but it is a new era my friends! Lets Go Red Wings

#1990279 If you had to predict what the 2010-2011 Roster WILL look like

Posted by 13dangledangle on 27 May 2010 - 08:48 AM

I just don't see us going after a scorer, unless a trade is made... we'd have too many top line guys and not enough minutes for them to be truly effective...

This is true! Well maybe soon Im getting on the Tatar train, the age of our top guys worries me a little, lets get Dats seasoning this kid a bit.

#1988452 Homer Contract Disussion

Posted by 13dangledangle on 23 May 2010 - 02:12 PM

If Homer wants a multi-year deal, he better be prepared to take less than $1m per year.

exactly, hit her right on the nose my friend. I feel this is something he'd be down for too, though im sure other teams will be calling him with better offers. To be honest I wouldnt even mind if he took it

#1987968 Todd Bertuzzi--Still a Great Talent or Lightning in a Bottle?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 21 May 2010 - 06:56 PM

Bertuzzi is far from great but he still has an uncanny ability to piss people off (sometimes Wings fans) and if he can stick with Mule and Hank...

DRIVE THE NET BERT f***!!!!!

Ive said it before and Im going to keep saying it lol but I really think that Flip Bert Mule (not in that order) would be an amazing second line for us. This also puts Dats and Z back together on line one with??????????? who knows the answer to that? I think Hudler would do very well but Ive been riled for that before lol so what do you guys think?

#1987502 Jimmy Howard has championship skills

Posted by 13dangledangle on 20 May 2010 - 08:21 AM

Laughing out loud at all 3 of you... :D

What's going to be even funnier is all of you will probably be so serious in your responses like, "WHY WON'T YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE BELIEVE ME?!" or "YOU'RE SO STUPID!" or "NICE RESPONSE *rolling eyes*" :P

Thanks for making my morning!

 lol that was nicely timed my friend, I was just going to respond to all three as well.

Lets recap the scores Game 1, 4-3. Game 2, 4-3. Game 3, 4-3. Game 3, 4-3. Game 4, 7-1. Game 5, 2-1. First of all Im not arguing that 12 goals in the first three is good, but we got freaking rocked with BAD calls in the first two games. For the most part what Jimmy doesnt see Jimmy cant stop and the sharks did a good job in that area as well. He let in 3 goals in the remaining two giving the wings a chance to win. No need to talk Nabakov, he played well, just not why we lost.

Mindfly did you just say that people on LGW compare Howard to Roy then say we should get Price?? OMG, I see people have there views but Price over Howard? You have to explain so we can talk about this <_<

I also LOVE that save  I just watched it again, then again and came to the conclusion that maybe My opinion is bias because If****** LOVE THIS GUY!! JIMMAYYY :!:

#1986277 Anyone Else Notice?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 17 May 2010 - 12:10 AM

I forgot about that! Why on earth would a company like NBC give a f*** about 16000 fans all coming an empty arena to watch there team? Its not like its free is it? I heard it was like ten bucks to get in to see it as well? Any way f*** NBC, and f*** Gary Bettman as well because Im sure hes behind it somehow lol

#1983968 Holland Targets Gritty 4th Liner

Posted by 13dangledangle on 12 May 2010 - 06:16 PM

Jaromir Jagr would make a great 4th liner.

There ya go  Ritola~Jagr~Hudler ahahaha...sweet :siren:
