#1987502 Jimmy Howard has championship skills

Posted by 13dangledangle on 20 May 2010 - 08:21 AM

Laughing out loud at all 3 of you... :D

What's going to be even funnier is all of you will probably be so serious in your responses like, "WHY WON'T YOU OR ANYBODY ELSE BELIEVE ME?!" or "YOU'RE SO STUPID!" or "NICE RESPONSE *rolling eyes*" :P

Thanks for making my morning!

 lol that was nicely timed my friend, I was just going to respond to all three as well.

Lets recap the scores Game 1, 4-3. Game 2, 4-3. Game 3, 4-3. Game 3, 4-3. Game 4, 7-1. Game 5, 2-1. First of all Im not arguing that 12 goals in the first three is good, but we got freaking rocked with BAD calls in the first two games. For the most part what Jimmy doesnt see Jimmy cant stop and the sharks did a good job in that area as well. He let in 3 goals in the remaining two giving the wings a chance to win. No need to talk Nabakov, he played well, just not why we lost.

Mindfly did you just say that people on LGW compare Howard to Roy then say we should get Price?? OMG, I see people have there views but Price over Howard? You have to explain so we can talk about this <_<

I also LOVE that save  I just watched it again, then again and came to the conclusion that maybe My opinion is bias because If****** LOVE THIS GUY!! JIMMAYYY :!:

I forgot about that! Why on earth would a company like NBC give a f*** about 16000 fans all coming an empty arena to watch there team? Its not like its free is it? I heard it was like ten bucks to get in to see it as well? Any way f*** NBC, and f*** Gary Bettman as well because Im sure hes behind it somehow lol

Posted by 13dangledangle on 11 May 2010 - 12:54 PM

ya no surise at all really here, I think we all knew the only way we would be a part in any blockbuser would be if Lids hung em up. I Know Flip will have his year this year as well, but Id like to see him with Bert(if he is here) and Franzen, Zetterberg with Datsyuk and Hudler/Holmer/Clears (but mostly Huds). I also think we have a GREAT year ahead of us :siren: so enjoy your summer kids.

#1982328 Luongo Not the Answer for Vancouver

Posted by 13dangledangle on 09 May 2010 - 07:01 PM

The problem with Vancouver is that they have built their team like this:

Excellent top line.
Solid second line.
Mediocre checking line.
Mediocre fourth line.

Good top pair.
Decent second pair.
Mediocre third pair.

Very good regular season goalie who they hope can carry them in the playoffs.

Most championship teams are built like this:

Strong top line
Strong second line.
Good checking line
Solid fourth line.

Very good top pairing.
Strong second pairing.
Decent third pair.

Good regular season goalie capable of carrying the team in the playoffs.

Look at the two builds. Which builds provide very good regular seasons and playoff failure, and which provide good regular seasons and deep playoff runs?

I think you all know the answer.

That took up so much space to say f*** ALL I wanted you to read it again

#1933191 Igor or Pavel

Posted by 13dangledangle on 06 April 2010 - 09:21 AM

I'm sure it was Linus Omark, as he just signed with the Oilers a couple of days ago. Yes, he is also a fun player to watch. He did the flip over the goalie before Pavel, although it was in an exhibition game against Switzerland so imo Pav's was way more impressive.
Omark can come up with some great moves and I look forward to seeing him in the NHL, but his "dangle dangle" skills (or any of his other skills) are not on the level of Pavel's, not even close.

 That's him man thx! this was the move that impressed me more actually, the shot between he legs one, sweet. Im glad Pasha's better though :)

#1933165 Igor or Pavel

Posted by 13dangledangle on 06 April 2010 - 08:08 AM

Igor was an incredible talent but Pasha is the most talented player in the game when it comes down to it Dats just has more raw talent I believe...and not to mention he can "dangle dangle" better then anyone has.
PS~ I was watching the Wild/Oilers game and they showed some clips of a prospect of theres, I cant remember his name but it appeared this kid can also "dangle dangle" and even showed the kid doing Pavs Puckflip over the goaile...but this kids might have been better :o

Ill start by saying I like Ozzy and respect what hes done, however facts are facts and you can tell how deflated the boys get every time he lets an early weak goal. Sorry Oz, but this is Howards team now.
