Honestly, you honestly believe that Sidney Crosby, just because he can, decided not to shake Lidstrom's hand after WINNING? How much do you have to hate Crosby to make that statement?

Well, after he remarks he made about Lidstrom and Datsyuk during that whole ASG weekend debacle (basically implying that Lidstrom was faking his tendinitis, saying that the suspension was their own fault, etc.), it wouldn't surprise me. Kid doesn't think much of his fellow players unless they're on his team.

So either your wife hates something she knows absolutely nothing about, which makes me wonder about your wife. Or, she simply hates him b/c you're always whining around your house about him like a little baby.

So which is it? Your wife a bit loony or are you a Crosby? AKA a whiny, little *****.

Bah, in my house, I complain more about officials than I do Crosby.

But I'll give you a prime example - when watching the last Wings/Pittsburgh game on NBC, my wife was in the kitchen and I was in the living room watching the game. The broadcast, as per usual on NBC, was saying "Crosby" nearly every third word. My wife poked her head out of the kitchen and said, "All I hear is 'Crosby, Crosby, Crosby'. It's really annoying. Are there any other players on the ice?" I didn't have to say a word and just laughed.

I remember during the olympics when you had a ton of posters on here who would say, "My friend (or girlfriend) doesn't even watch hockey and they said to me, "Who the hell is that whiny looking kid? He's such a ******. Why do they keep focusing on him?" Quite a marketing strategy.

I'll concur with that. My wife doesn't follow hockey but even she hates Crosby.

Plus he was a -1 overall for the series. I think Ovechkin still ended up something like a +4 in his series. What annoyed me even more was that during the postgame, Crosby couldn't give one iota of credit to the Habs, just like he refused to give any to Zetterberg for shutting him down. Plus, predictably, he whined during the postgame about the penalty he took. "I don't understand how you can call that penalty 10 seconds into a Game 7..." Well, Sid, technically the rules aren't supposed to change whether it's Game 1 of the regular season or Game 7 of the SCF. You f***ed up, you pay the price. Own up to it, you baby.

Hilarious. Ovehckin puts 10pts up in 7 games against the Habs and people call him a choker. Crosby puts 5pts up in 6 games and he's still the anointed one.

But...but...but...the Caps didn't make it out of the first round so Crosby's better, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Same here. It's not a coincidence that our defense and PK tanked once he was brought aboard. Any team he has joined has had the exact same problem. Google it.

Can't win 'em all. We weren't even supposed to make the playoffs. Then we weren't even supposed to make it out of the 1st round. When all is said and done, this team actually overachieved. You did us proud, boys. You've played a lot of hockey these past few years and frankly, you deserve a rest.

And a message to the Habs/Bruins/Blackhawks/Sharks...one of you better beat the damn Penguins.

Pittsburgh, but only if we can tase the players too. That would show Crosby what it really takes to flop around on the ice.
