Horton is the best player on the list & the one that could help our team the most, bar none. Now, will the price be too high???? that's the question. However,,, I would take the 5+ that Flip is asking, (send his bags a packing) and then pick up the extra somewhere, if that's what it takes to get Horton.

Roy is pretty tight with Sakic, so this doesn't surprise me. I was really hoping they would take a run at George Gwozdecky, But that's always a gamble too, bringing a college coach to the professional ranks. I agree that this is more of a PR stunt, Avs are losing many of their fair weather fan base :-)

That's alright with me, we have been the hammer for a long, long time. Let them have their "shortened" season of glory. We win a few games in the series, then wave to them bye-bye as we move to the East and they stay in the West
