In Jimmy Howard's rookie season he has managed to outplay Osgood for the starter position, took on the pressure of being a Detroit Red Wings goalie, punched Crosby, carried the team when up to 9 roster players were injured, was a key part in achieving a record 19th straight playoff run, is a Calder Trophy candidate, had a great first round including his first ever playoff shutout, and still remains to be pretty humble about all of it. Jimmy, you had me at ‘punched Crosby’.

Wings will win in phoenix, will play the Sharks, game 1 Friday night.

Should be a good series. I'm expecting a physical series right off the bat. Can't wait till thursday. ANd series should start on thursday, a concert at hp will be on friday and saturday as the eagles are coming to town. Second game should be on sunday, ij ust hope the sunday game is not in the morning. But should be a good fought series. If the Sharks win, our pysch will be wayy upp since most of our playoff ghosts\demons are there and if they lose, they haveno shame to lose to the wings. Here to a good fought series. Pittsburgh will have a cakewalk to the finals again, but the good news is that any one of the remaining Western teams could beat them. The only thing they have going for them is Crosby and we all know how easily Zetterberg shuts him down every year.
