Brett Sutter: ya dad we sure are. Darryl Sutter: we'll you're going to be spending some more time with him. we've just traded you to Carolina. Brett Sutter: thanks dad.

When the red lights goes off, it can illuminate the name of a different sponsor! "That was a beautiful "Call Sam Bernstein" goal by Pavel Datsyuk!!!" Then sell naming rights to the individual components of the game, like, "This is a Belle Tire Power Play" Hey, WHATTHE....?????

What a great article! Not his best, but a great article nonetheless. Bob McKenzie is possibly the best and most humble hockey writer today. Not to mention his scoops are always 100% reliable.

http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=341501 This dude's farts must smell like roses, I mean c'mon what a baby, I can't believe he still has credibility; TSN is becoming a joke with Cox who is just the biggest moron in history, Dreger, a s***-stirrer that wants to ban hitting, Duthie world class pansy that thinks he knows about hockey, Pierre perhaps has the most credibility with his views but then loses it with his off-kilter personality

I've been impressed by the Blues. They are better than I thought they were. Also Larry Murphy seems drunk again tonight...I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! He seems drunk like 85% of the time, especially when he goes nuts over dollar hot dogs. Murph was always a favorite on the point for me and now he is a favorite in the booth...

Mattias Ritola scores first NHL goal

Lol. Are you seriously trying to compare Datsyuk to Ritola? Only on LGW.com. /facepalm. What's next, a comparison of Lidstrom to Lebda? Look, Hudler played multible more games with better talent (and gets more ice time) than Ritola and it's only a whopping 3 points differenceand same +/- statistics. Hudler get's paid $2.2 million more per year. Like I said, nobody here should throw rocks at glass houses when we have our own "dead weight" to worry about. Not only do we have our "dead weight", but they are taking up almost $5 million in cap space to put about the same amount of numbers. But you guys can keep on spinning this how ever you like, the facts remain the same.

cruising with AO in moscow lol

He doesn't, he listens to Justin Bieber I used to really like Ovie more than Crosby, but right now I'm just kind of indifferent to both guys. It's just fun cracking jokes at Crosby's expense, I don't hold any real grudge against him. I just think Ovechkin listening to Tupac suits him more than it does Crosby, for whatever reason.

    Wrongful Dismissal?

If the NHL actually fired refs for having bad games where they called several phantom penalties.... There'd be about 1 ref and 4 linesmen left in the entire league.

So what are we supposed to take from this? That the fans are way off base and Colin Cambell is in the right? Whether anything happens to Cambell or not is irrelevant, the actions and language with regard to those emails is unprofessional booools*** from someone in an executive position. But hey, thanks for stating the obvious McKenzie cause you're a good guy. esteef

I don't even care about his thoughts on the Wings. What I love about him is his hockey knowledge across not only the NHL, but NCAA, CHL and AHL, is second to none. He's not too opinionated and doesn't critique teams like an ex-pro or something, but still seems to make better predictions than most ex-pro experts. I agree, I think the OP mighta read the article hungover or something because he's just so far off-base it's not funny.

I rather have Sammy at $2.5M than Hudler at $2.8M

Yeah but youre used to having no cap space for injury call ups the last few years. We trade Hudler for a decent prospect or picks and we have 2.8 millin in cap space coming our way. Thats enough for us to call up waiver exempt guys like Mursak or Emmerton who are both looking NHL ready or Iflip could come up

I wish Red Wings would get a 6-0 lead in multiple games, then give Hudler a s*** load of ice time; double shift him with Zetterberg-Datsyuk and Franzen-Filppula to hopefully bloat his stats to increase his trade value, then trade him immediately.

Where is he gonna fit? the third line is rolling now, abdelkader is a beast, hudler is not a 4th line type player and they need both miller and eaves (helm is always in) on the PK for it to work and not fail like it did against vancouver...Right now i would have loved to use his 2.875M and put on a more gritty player, i liked the thread about clarkson, would be a much more bang for the buck in this case... now they are stuck with hudler and nowhere to put him... maybe cleary can be taken out but then again he's been hot as of late...
