    The Wings will win. Trust me today is my day. I just came home (to check on the dog) from the hospital where my daughter (first child) was born at 3:59am EST. 6lbs 7oz 19 inch beautiful girl, mom and baby are doing very well. No way the hockey gods would let the Wings lose today, and make me have to deal with all of my friends(I live near Boston) for the next 2 months!

    Yep, pretty annoying. Until I realize NBC could be covering a lone player instead of a team, one whom, in fact has nothing to do with this game. So, I'll put up with the Boston coverage as the lesser of two evils.

    Ya, not home, can't stream locals without switching my setup, and NBC streams it....so a few reasons not bother with it. Tomorrow should be planned as normal.

    Just read Datsyuk's quote regarding the matchup. It seems like there is a lot of respect there, that wasn't in the Vancouver series for good reason.

    Ummmm, according to who? You? The general consensus, actually, is that he's NHL ready. Like I said in a previous thread, they sent Smith down because they could; beacuse it was easy - no waivers, no grief, no players lost, depth retained. I think Smith should have stayed. But I'm not for waiving Commodore. So......

    Personally i hate the kid even more because ESPN NHL first headline reads...... shoot they took it down, BUT i saved a pic (because i wanted to make fun of him and share with ya'll). the headline read "Crosby says he's sore, but healthy" a) he's sore from ____? heeh b) are you serious... we need updates on his soreness? c) great night following your spectacular 'must watch tv' return bud. d) have a happy thanksgiving LGW!

    I almost fell off my chair when I woke up to see the contract Holland gave Ericsson. Horrendous deal. This guy is a career 3rd pairing defenceman, and he's getting paid $3+mil?! Crazy. He's clueless out there.
