Two and a half months ago almost everyone was expecting a bottom 10 finish, some even a bottom 5 one. Now after more than a third of the season we still are an above .500 team. To be outclassed against a top team in the league with the little depth we have is not unexpected and not worrysome at all. They are riding the "wave of success" as long as it may go but I have the feeling SY never intended to do anything else than tanking, otherwise he would have tried to trade for upgrades. The more I see of our defense, the more I see the need to go for Zadorov in the offseason. He would be an impact player on D not point wise but with his physicality. Here’s a crazy thought regarding our defense, both Oliver Kylington and Shane Gostisbehere were on waivers a year ago and could have been on our team for the costs of their contracts. Michael Del Zotto is now, would be a solid addition to the left side given what we have.
