I’m not real excited about tonight’s game to be honest with you. I will miss the first two hours (start time is 4pm PST) and I don’t like watching DVR’d games especially when I know the outcome. I have to laugh though, at the “fans” on this site. First they accuse Setoguchi of “diving” but can’t give a single example of when he did. Now, I’ve seen some posts accusing Pavelski of “diving’ but again, no specific examples. You really need to form your own opinions and not believe bloggers and local biased reporters.
Now, to the officiating. I know a lot of you are expecting that the Wings get the calls tonight because the refs “owe” the Redwings something. So basically you are saying biased officiating is expected and approved, AS LONG as it benefits YOUR team? Seems like kind of a hypocritical attitude (maybe it’s just me) Any way, enjoy the game, I’m guessing you’ll be more happy with tonight’s outcome. GO SHARKS

Because Howard isn't a good goalie (he's only AWESOME on this board because of the glove on crosby's head, no helmet save and whatnot), Price is better than Howard and he's three years younger, too.

edit: After re-reading what you posted, I think you might have misheard him. He was alluding to the fact that you could play Sweet Georgia Brown as a soundtrack to the Wings passing game through the Sharks' zone, ala Harlem Globetrotters.

I am sick of being force-fed this Crosby is King crap. The annointing started before the guy even laced up for his first NHL game. For instance, anyone with eyes can see that Ovechkin is clearly a better player.. I can think of many others I would rather have that are better skaters, defensive players, more grit, etc. It seems to me that this myopic Crosby fervor stems from the need for Canadians to cling to hockey as the one thing they are better than others at, and being the hockey kingdom they need a hockey king. This inferiority complex stems from the fact that they were too afraid to join us in the revolutionary war, and has continued since(notice thier money still has the queen of england on it). I call em like I see em, if crosby was the best I'd say so.

Is anybody else pissed that the #1, #2 and #3 teams in the east all lost in the first round and have paved the way for the Pens to return to the finals? I mean for God's sake, how much luck can 1 team have.
While we are playing San Jose, they are playing a Montreal team that almost didn't make the playoffs. And then if we get past San Jose we face either Chicago or Vancouver and they get Boston or Philadelphia.

1) There is no curfew at American Airports.
2) Even Charter Flights have to announce departure and arrival times, and keep everyone in route up to date on travel.
