The Saints are just that bad, probably worse than the 49ers. I seen the Saints play a few weeks ago and it was like watching the Lions. Same mistakes, flubs, everything. Still, I think the Saints will win because the Lions will be playing on the road. Todays game? More of the same. Surprised they even have a TD in all this. It's 31-10 in the 3rd and the fans are beginning to chant "Fire Millen". Can't tell how many people are left in FF to watch the game. I don't even know why they're staying. I'm surprised they didn't start the opening kickoff with a rousing FIRE MILLEN and keep it going for four quarters....or however long it took the stadium to empty. Nobody's coming out to back Millen, which they should do if they intend to keep him - it's no sense trying to "quietly" keep him and hope the fans don't notice. The easiest thing to do would be to issue some little statement saying in effect "we're sorry we suck and we're doing everything in our power to improve", you know, the usual PR bulls***, but they haven't said a peep. Will you do a happy dance if the Lions win? The Saints typically play down/up to the level of competition. First game of the season against Atlanta, they actually played a damn good game and got piped at the end by the referees, the game at the very least should've gone into overtime. Then they got destroyed by Green Bay the following week 52-3 and Green Bay isn't too solid of a team. They go through spurts where you ask yourself is this a team that should at the very least be 8-8, 9-7, and they play solid. But then they make mistakes that shouldn't be made once you are done in the pee wee leagues. They are in shambles right now. I doubt even playing the Lions will solve all the problems this season.
