ESPN's Gamecast is pretty amazing. I know more about what's going on than if I were there!

On that homer we are like, GO FOUL GO FOUL GO...s***!

I love the gamecast.

For all you long time Tigers fans who grew up listening to the game on the radio, Ernie Harwell will be in the broadcast booth with ESPN for a couple innings on Friday. I cannot wait to see/hear this :D

Just hope they don't cut him off like that ***** Jeanie Zelasko did during the All Star Game last year.

I was relegated to the ESPN Gamecast thing, too. It is absolutely fantastic but I freaked out twice in the ninth inning with their little animation thing of the field.

You get the little animation of the ball being pitched and there's a .................. pause ................... then this little yellow crawl comes up saying "this pitch has been hit into play" ..................... pause .................... then you see the animation of Cano's hit animation going higher, Higher, HIGHER to left field then it dies out and displays that he's out.

@#%$!@$!!

That's killer for my heartrate. Freaking Damon's at-bat was the same thing, with the added anxiety that he had already hit a 3-run shot earlier.

But man.... It was AWESOME hearing the cars going down the road outside after that last out, honking away, people yelling out their windows. That was great!

Ernie in the booth?!?!?

Ernie is a freaking LEGEND. I honestly believe there has never been a better baseball man. For sure, there isn't another person involved with the game that I'd rather meet. He's a gold mine of baseball knowledge and his unselfishness and willingness to share it with fans is what makes him so great. That and his voice.

I just want to hear one more home run call from him. That and I want to hear him tell the whole world the hometown of the guy who caught the foul ball. When I was in first grade, I always wondered how he knew :lol:

LET'S GO TIGERS!! They can DO THIS!! I'm beyond excited. I want them to win in the worst way.

 You and me both. I could never figure out how he always knew where everyone was from. Eventually, I decided that when you went to the ballpark, you signed in where you were from, and Ernie had a big map of Tiger Stadium, so he'd just look who caught the foul, check their seat, and say their hometown.

Then on my first trip to Tiger Stadium, I couldn't figure out why we didn't sign the big map saying we were from Lansing.

I'll admit that I was nervous as all hell when they put in Jones, I was pacing back and forth at work. He pitched well though, something like 14 of his 18 pitches were strikes.

Copa better be deafening tomorrow.

I like their chances at this point now. Have Bondo and Kenny going - #1 and 2 pitchers respectively- at home so it should be a win.
