Trade Idea if we don't get Guerin

How about Stumpel and Bert for Williams and a early round draft pick.

It seems like Florida might part with Bert for a pick and Stumpel is an ok pick up. At least he scored more than Williams this season.

Right now i dont see us getting anyone. Holland is in love with the players that he has right now, and he never seems to want to part with them come trade deadline. We will probably get another crappy pick up like the corey cross of last year. I wouldnt mind seeing bertuzzi come to the wings, but i wouldnt give up hudler of flip for someone that we dont even know if hes going to be healthy enough to play. I'd love to see us get guerrin but thats looking to be out of the question as well. Holland needs to do something if he wants us to do anything in playoffs, maybe Yzerman needs to kick him in the ass and remind him of last years playoff whopping he and the rest of the wings recieved. < this has no point i just like ninjas

Yeah, Guerin will be hard to get. The Sens and `Nucks have already said that they are interested, so.................. it will be interesting to wait and see.

i hope we get bertuzzi and get done with this s*** allready im really getting pissed ... every1z getting improved and were just staying put to get out of the playoffs the first round ... and we dont make a decent trade i really hope that we get knocked out first round just so that hard headed idiot ken holland can understand what it means getting a player that could help your team ... and cutting that idiot williams and lilja that suck

A smart move if we cannot get Guerin or Bertuzzi would be to trade for Nolan and Laraque.... if not just Nolan. THan you trade for Mayers. THen we have Nolan and Mayers to add in.

Second line would be something like - Samuelsson - Lang - Nolan

Then you have a Maltby - Draper - Mayers line

i agree. bertuzzi maybe a little more realistic considering his uncertain health status but that is a risk trade.

i'd say go for it IF it is at all possible.

yeah no one probably will want the players holland is willing to part with unless it involves many picks.

i hope IF any move is made it helps the team in playoffs and results in a CUP!

And I don't want to mortgage the farm for Guerin or Bertuzzi, especially Bertuzzi who may not even be able to play. And it's not like Guerin lights it up in the playoffs either.

i'm starting to expect bert to become a red wing...he will not have played and therefore i can see at the last minute detroit being able to pick him up for a 2nd rounder at about 2:56PM on tuesday

I just had a thought: How much motivation would must guys have if they were talented enough to be a first line center on many teams in the league, but instead were stuck with 2 Wingers that had no finishing ability whatsoever? I'm not saying Lang is great, but maybe he'll return to form if we can get him someone who can play, so he has a bit more fun out there.
