norrisnick 1 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Tootoo is Maltby without the defensive presence and with added springs in his skates.
Dawn of Pred 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 (edited) Tootoo is to reckless. One of thse days he is going to run at someone, and they are seriously going to get hurt. I am just glad to see our D stepping up and not taking his crap. Nice hits by Schieder and Lebda. If I had Tootoo coming at me I would make sure he would be busy visiting his local denist over the next couple months. 2003 no one has done s*** to Tootoo..........its not like he backs down...........I love fans like you guys,,,,,,,,,,,Tootoo does not run and hide like Chelios or any wing.........I tell you this.......if Boots ever ran any of our guys like Tootoo did to scheider I guarrantee you Tootoo takes them out the next shift. The Wings have been Mr Softee soft for a long time. That is why they moved to get Bertuzzi. And he will go with Tootoo as soon as his fat overrated can gets back Edited March 14, 2007 by Dawn of Pred
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 There is not a player on Det that would hurt Tootoo.............The reason they chide Chelios is because he has refused to fight him 5 times since 2003..............Tootoo is like Maltby and Draper in their primes...........if he was a wing you'd love him. Tootoo beat Laraque and Booregard.this yr............................Beating up Boots is like beating your step brother. Tootoo got us that goal because he did his job and got Schneider out of his game. That is smart hockey. We used to make those mistakes but we take it to folks now and dont react. The Preds are going to pound the wings in every game from here on out. They know the Wings are soft and we can outphysical just about any team..............plus we have the skill. Tomorrow at the Joe Forsberg and Sully return. You better get points because if you dont its over and you'll enjoy the 4 th seed. Your still solid but you are no longer elite. We are the lead pack dog now. Come get us. Your reign is over. I am sure some ridiculous hillbilly jokes will follow. I'm suprised that being you're from the south you know anything about Bootland or the Wings or hockey in general you toothless hillbilly. There, satisfied? Schneids_is_awesome 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 I know you said this in your other post, but I'll use this to get your attention. Tootoo never has, and never will fight Laraque or Boogard. He'd die. They'd both knock him out with one punch. Tootoo is a s***ty fighter. Norton could probably even take him out. Bertuzzi vs. Tootoo, 3/29/07. Lets not go too far on the Norton thing--i'd give the fight a tie.

I'd say you started joking with this "your reign is over" thing. when exactly did Nashville won a single playoff round, could you recall? thanks a lot. BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Last two games we played Minn and Laraque in Phx before he got traded. Hordichuck also fought him to a draw as well. You need to stay a bit more current. You need to deal in reality. Here's his fight card. Find me the Boogaard and Laraque fights, please. Thx.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Wings need to play much better in the 2nd. Ozzie was REALLY sharp. And no it wasn't a soft goal, unless you all think that shots that are screened/not seen equals a soft goal. Start of the second! LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!! SHUT 'EM DOWN OZZIE!!!!!! Lidstromrules16 7 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Last I checked all 5'10, 190 lbs of Bart Lebda knocked Too Too down. Hitting is not much of an art, especially when you run into the boards all the time like tootoo

BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 (edited) Last two games we played Minn and Laraque in Phx before he got traded. Hordichuck also fought him to a draw as well. You need to stay a bit more current. You're so out of your depth now you don't know which way is up..... Tootoo has not fought Laraque or Boogarrd. He's fought big time heavies like Jason Chimera, Adam Foote, Ole Kristian Tollefson and Mathieu Dandenault in his career. Edit: he's fought that big time Heavyweight they have in Columbus. Oh no not Jody Shelley, Rusty Klesla, twice, back when Klesla was still a teenager. Tough guy we have here Edited March 14, 2007 by BuckeyeWingsfan80

Herr Hockey 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 They played dreadfully in front of Hasek just last Sunday. So far I'd say any brain-cramps out there have nothing to do with Ozzie, dumb penalty notwithstanding (like Hasek did on Sunday, too). Ozzie's done more than his share in the first, wouldn't you say? I think you misunderstood me. I was pointing out that Osgood was doing good at keeping us in the game. I was making the observation that Osgood doesn't have the greatest luck, meaning that when he starts it seems like the team is at a below average energy level. GO WINGS!!! Mark THS 2 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Lets not go too far on the Norton thing--i'd give the fight a tie. Tootoo is a more than competant middleweight. He struggles with anyone who's got 20-40 lbs on him. I'd give Norton the nod based on sheer size.

Pskov Wings Fan 71 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 OK, you were doing ok until you posted this. I follow the fights pretty closely, and I'm pretty sure Tootoo has never fought Laraque or "Booregard" (sic), let alone beat them. Post links to fight clips, please. On the sidenote, during a game when Boogard was a scratch he was around the team's bench in suit and glasses. Looked nothing like a fighter and was giving some meaningful comments about the game
