He had a goal last outing (win). Two assists before then (OT loss). He's been dominating recently, it's no big deal if another player or line steps up to have a big game once in a while. After we scored the two fluke goals, the intensity just stopped altogether. s***ty game for the Nucks tonight, but at least they got a point. That said, that was three people and there are a lot more than three people on this website, so try not to categorize the entire fanbase as being classless. That was three frustrated people, who I hopefully assume were not hoping for anything serious. Hope Erat gets better, and ignore how ever many classless fans appear on this forum. Anyways, I am off to bed. Gotta be up by 7, so I am looking at 5 hours...eww. Look forward to the rematch tomorrow. Just thought i'd put that out there. With tootoo and the rest of the preds playing dirty it might just become a rival soon. I never did understand the Holmstrom interference call...?? ( among others) and, did anyone else notice that Osgood's puck handling skills really helped out our D tonight? He's known for it, and he was obviously great in net, but I thought he was excellent handling the puck and made good passing decisions that aided our breakout and limited our normally generous blueline core's turnovers. Or maybe it was just about me missing the game and not jinxing our team... The game started @ 2 a.m. our time and I needed to be at school 8.30. What a great start to my day when I checked the score! So a crazy night, huh? At least judging by this megalomaniacal 55+ page presentation. Big props to Ozzie, he was even better than in his last outing in Nas! Some huge saves. Seems like this game wouldn't have been good for my nerves, they would lie in ruins thanks to the officials' performance. Gladly it didn't cost us the victory that we so much deserved. Good to see the kids contribute so much in a big game. I just LOVED it when Flip rubbed it in on Vokoun and dropped him on his butt. And as for Calder, what more can you say? What a steal by Kenny. Kyle worked so hard that even lazy old Bob was able to score! Tootoo looks like a moron out there, running around the boards as if he was playing blindfolded. He might as well play without a stick. Always good for a laugh though. Booter should give him a little "reminder" tonight to keep those stupid charges in check before someone gets hurt. Offsides 21 Report post Posted March 14, 2007 Well, I didn't want to come in last night, because I didn't want to jinx the game. Wow, it was a good one, hopefully success like THAT tonight. I loved how at the end we got all of those goals. What a sweet ending. And Huddles! Man, that kid is so good, I'm telling you, he's one of my favorites right now. Lebda is still playing really well, imo, and that Flip goal was really cool, I loved it! Oh, loved to see Malts get one, too. I really, really hate that weird trapazoid rule. We are being plagued with it...first Dom now Oz. UGH. That's a dumb rule. And penalties..I thought we were never going to get off the penalty kill. Right before they got the 2nd goal I quipped, that the refs should just GIVE the preds a goal and get on with it. I'm not saying we didn't deserve any of them, it was just annoying. But can I say enough about Ozzie? No. He was so good last night. I definitely think he's been hampered by injuries after watching him last night. He's been good lately, but he definitely elevated his game last night and looked more Ozzie-esque. Seeing him after last night, I knew what I felt I was missing.
