 Aflac once again superb job on getting the party started!

Bertuzzi countdown is down to 2 games! I can't wait! As for tonight's game, I think it will be a battle. Its going to be 5-3 Wings. This GDT feels really early since it will be a late start... 10PM local time. Its going to be a good game though.

Not gonna lie...I'm pretty depressed because I've missed the last 3 games cuz I was in Texas...and now I'm missing this game because I'll be at a concert :(

I NEED TO SEE MY BOYS PLAY AHHHH

But anyways...Despite our injuries, I still think we'll come out on top. 3-1 Hudler, Dats and Lids...and one of the Sedins

goooo wings!

Well I'll be at the game. I saw the season opener at the joe (at home visiting relatives in Windsor) and though we put a lot of rubber at Luongo, he came up large. I hope we have better luck at the other end as well (Naslund's goal went in off of his head). This one could go either way...

GO WINGS! Hoping for Hudler shines! (the lil' monkey).

Great work as usual aflac.

DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings feared their injured list might have grown when Valtteri Filppula left Wednesday’s game against Nashville in the second period after blocking a shot with his foot.

But, coach Mike Babcock got some good news after the game. He said Filppula is fine and it appears -- according to Babcock -- that he might not even miss a game.

Filppula will travel with the team today to Vancouver. The Wings play the Canucks on Saturday and Calgary on Tuesday.

Phew that's a relief, lets hope he's out there tonight.

Please be Advised? - Did I miss something?

Anyway, this is the most excited I have been all season for a game. It is getting down to crunch down, we are facing a hot playoff bound team ... (and I live in BC) so I am ready to go on this one. I don't care how hot Roberto is, Lang-Calder-Rex are gunna find the net.

Notch another win down for us.

My only wish (along with about a million other Red Wing fans) would have to have been to have Bert a Z in the lineup for this one. I always love to see us take these guys out.

Basically only Daniel scores goals (31+38), while Henrik is the assist man (10+57).

I picked Vancouver in Weekend Picks, hopefully that's enough to jinx 'em. :P

As for Flip, good to hear we were lucky with an injury, for once.

Interesting, no home victories in the season series so far, let's keep that trend up! :siren:

I think this is a bigger test than either of the Nashville games. We need to be able to prove that we can win on the road against a team like Vancouver. It's interesting that the visiting team has won the three previous meetings already, so hopefully that trend continues. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. The Wings are still depleted, the Canucks are not. Should still be a fun one nonetheless.

I'm hoping for another unlikely victory tonight as the Spartans take on North Carolina in the NCAA tournament. A Wings win and a Spartans win would make this a very nice St. Patty's Day.

This one is going to be close IMO, both teams have almost identical stats I think the Wings are going to scrape a win out of this one, 2-3 from Datsyuk, Lang and Hudler

:siren: GO WINGS!!! :siren:
