If you stayed up -- say aye

Aye. 12:45 and had to be up by 5:30.

can anyone beat that turnaround?

yep, watched every moment of the game, was AT work at 5:30am, so alarm goes of at 4:30. Stream of expletives begins 4:31.

sucks worse when we lose, but it's the Wings, baby. No other option.

I did indeed stay up to watch the game. When we went into double overtime vs calgary last week, the damn sports bar was closing, so the waitress was cleaning around me. Luckily, they told me that they'd stay open for me 'til the game finished. The moral of the story is: Always give good tips! :P

Did I stay up? Is there any other option? This is Red Wing playoff hockey!

pretty much says it all. But I'll add....the game started at 4pm here. This is MOST convenient. Yet for some reason I've called in to work for the last 2 days. ::cough::?

I stay up for every playoff game.

It's not to bad for me. I'm a contractor/painter and I work close to home (It's very rare when I have to drive more than 45 minutes to a job), so even if I start work at 8:00, I don't have to get up earlier than 7:00.

justification for staying up no matter what the next morning has in store!

Geezus, that gives me goose bumps everytime I see it or hear it!!!!

ty for the video. Watch how much faster Stevie looks right before that goal than all the other players do. It's almost weird.

Gotta stay awake. Playoffs, doncha know! The long nights start to pile up, though. Bad thing is that the Wings haven't done terribly well in those late-night games... If I'm going to put in the effort to stay awake, the Wings could have the decency to win, eh?

Yeah, I hate staying up late. But I think it is all worth it.

The level of fatigue is directly proportional to the outcome of the game.

ie the Wings lose, you feel like crap the next day, they win,and all is good

Aye aye and I think I got everybody beat today.

Couldn't get to bed until about 1:00am CT, but still woke up like I normally do during the week.

Only about 3 1/2 hours of sleep...

Woke up at 4:30am for breakfast and reading the latest news

5:45am workout at the gym

Left for work around 7:00am

Worked until about 5:00pm ish through my lunch hour.

So clearly I got the smallest amount of sleep but was still the most productive, so I win. :P

Yes, you hit it right on the head! I stay up late for all them, but I sure wish we could go back to the East. Off soon to bed to get a good nights rest for tomorrow!

I stayed up late and I wanted a refund even though I am a night owl.

They made way too many mistakes and you never know which team is going to show up. The team that won at home the game before or these lack luster teams... that don't show any grit or heart.

Aye, I'm here, but that's no feat. It's now 10:55AM in China. Sun's out, beautiful spring day, and a good time for hockey. (of course, any time's a good time I suppose)
