I don't think the Sharks are better. I just think the Sharks are bigger. The Wings cannot seem to get the puck away from them when the Sharks are holding it on the boards. It sure would be nice to have Jiri Fischer right about now

Believe me harold, there's nobody here who gets annoyed more than myself when people start blaming the refs. But to be fair, they really, really screwed up on San Jose's second goal. That's just flat out stupid and clueless officiating.

I've been impressed with Holmstrom's fearlessness in front of the net given his eye injury. I'd have it would make him much more tentative, but I guess it's the only way Tomas knows how to play.

At some point one of the Eurotwins just has to score. It's inconceivable to think that they'd both get shutout in every road game this post-season.

there are definitely exceptions the rule when blaming refs.

I mainly was referring to those who make it sound like those dastardly refs are out to get the Wings. They aren't. But they still f*ck up from time to time and it can cost us.

As for the Eurotwins, you couldn't be more right. They are the new leaders of the team and need to step up.

The Wings won't get very far without them on the board.

I *wish* it was true...but I still see posts. I swear some people WANT for the Wings to lose so they can say certain players suck, and whine in their own pity party...and say 'I was right! I was right! They LOST...so and so SUCKS' Wow.

I noticed that.. i like your attitude.. we can still win this game, and all of a sudden we have a tied series and home ice advantage

Holmer may have just created the energizer goal that we needed to finish this game and start steam rolling the series. Like Lids slapshot back when we blew out Colorado.

Without a doubt, we'd eat shark if we had Holmer and Lebda in the start of this series.
