I have mixed feelings about this years playoffs, im hoping for Selänne to win the cup, but sadly he plays for such a s***ty team with equally annoying teammates likes chrissy pronger and the niederwiener sisters and other bastards, i kind of want the Sens to win this one... i cant decide

I'll watch; I won't get up at night to watch it or listen to it live, but I'll definitely catch up with every game the following day. I hate Pronger too much, so I'm supporting the Sens as if they were my brothers and cousins.

I'm a Wings fan through and through but I'm also a fan of Hockey and I'd be psychotic to miss the finals. Ottawa is going to be rocking with the entire nation of Canada behind them plus Alfredsson can be the first Swede to win the cup.

I think it's already too late for that.

As for the question I'll watch the game(s) when Ottawa can win the Cup, other than that, no.

Absolutely. Always have since I've started watching hockey as a teen, and always will. The Wings bowing out coming oh so close to the Finals doesn't change that.

The Red Wings are a big deal to me, but it's just a game and it's just a sport that I have no bearing on. It's not healthy if I'm that bitter and don't watch the rest of the games because I'm just that upset from them getting eliminated when I have absolutely no control over the outcome of a game as a spectator.

You soak in the defeat, take a day or so to settle down, and move on with your work and your normal routine.

I will absolutely be watching the finals. And I know a lot of people are going to say I'm crazy but I think the Sens will take it in 5.

Look what the Wings did to the Sharks with a depleted D corps and a banged up forward unit that featured little to no scoring from our 2nd line.

The Sens roll out 4 lines better than anyone, and all of them can score. And that's not to mention their defense, which has been the best in these playoffs. Emery is the only darkspot on this roster and yet he was only able to out dual Fleury, Brodeur and Miller.

Lets also remember that guys like Filp, Zetts and Datsyuk made Neidermayer and Pronger look like pilons at times. The Sens have a lot more healthy and offensive players that will do the same.

Nope. Won't be watching. The hockey season is over for me.

I could care less what happens to Anaheim or Ottawa. Although if there is any justice in this world...the Stanley Cup should go to a Canadian team. Watching the Stanley Cup get paraded through Disneyland in Anaheim with all of 100 Ducks fans showing up doesn't look very good.

Ducks are a boring trap like team , Otttawa is all offence with a shutdown pairing.

this was bad for the NHL.. ratings are going to be terrible. I will still watch though.

Even if the Wings won this series the ratings would have been horrible...outside of a few markets nobody watches the NHL playoffs in the US.

Lidstrom's from Sweden, and he has already won the cup... a few times. Actually when you think about it a large chunk of The Wings are from Sweden.

I'll still watch. I'm still in a bad mood over the Wings losing, but I'll still watch the SCF. I mean, it's hockey, and it's the finals.

Although, if if something comes up and I have other plans, I'm not going to drop them like I normally would if the Wings were still playing. When the Wings are out, it's just not the same.
