Ray1905 18 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I hate both teams, it should be a good finale, I will watch it.
Vilmer 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Tonight was the last NHL game I'll be watching.
Wings_Fan_In_Exile 3 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Of course I'll be watching, it's playoff hockey. Especially to watch Pronger cry as he gets oh so close to the Cup again just to lose.
Offsides 21 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I don't think I will be. Maybe I will, but right now, I'm thinking I won't. And I normally would. This loss really took something out of me.
miksteri 55 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I have mixed feelings about this years playoffs, im hoping for Selänne to win the cup, but sadly he plays for such a s***ty team with equally annoying teammates likes chrissy pronger and the niederwiener sisters and other bastards, i kind of want the Sens to win this one... i cant decide
regwinguofmfan 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Nope.
FromItaly 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I'll watch; I won't get up at night to watch it or listen to it live, but I'll definitely catch up with every game the following day. I hate Pronger too much, so I'm supporting the Sens as if they were my brothers and cousins.
Wings_Dynasty 267 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I won't be watching and neither will the rest of America. I don't care who wins and neither does the rest of America. Neither team will make the play-offs next year and no dynasty team will ever happen again under the Bettman regime.
The_Cub 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I'll be wathing. Sens in 7!
Izzy24 44 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I'm a Wings fan through and through but I'm also a fan of Hockey and I'd be psychotic to miss the finals. Ottawa is going to be rocking with the entire nation of Canada behind them plus Alfredsson can be the first Swede to win the cup. I think it's already too late for that. As for the question I'll watch the game(s) when Ottawa can win the Cup, other than that, no.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 (edited) Absolutely. Always have since I've started watching hockey as a teen, and always will. The Wings bowing out coming oh so close to the Finals doesn't change that. The Red Wings are a big deal to me, but it's just a game and it's just a sport that I have no bearing on. It's not healthy if I'm that bitter and don't watch the rest of the games because I'm just that upset from them getting eliminated when I have absolutely no control over the outcome of a game as a spectator. You soak in the defeat, take a day or so to settle down, and move on with your work and your normal routine. Edited May 23, 2007 by SouthernWingsFan
interminded 1 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 As much as NASN will show here in Europe. I'll watch it for sure ! Both are great teams, which should make an interesting series. Ducks in
Jiri the man 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I'll watch,I love hockey.I don't care who wins as long as it iisn't the Ducks.
Firehawk 305 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I'm watching. I want to see how Ottawa's speed/offense is handled by Anaheim.
Hank 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 I will absolutely be watching the finals. And I know a lot of people are going to say I'm crazy but I think the Sens will take it in 5. Look what the Wings did to the Sharks with a depleted D corps and a banged up forward unit that featured little to no scoring from our 2nd line. The Sens roll out 4 lines better than anyone, and all of them can score. And that's not to mention their defense, which has been the best in these playoffs. Emery is the only darkspot on this roster and yet he was only able to out dual Fleury, Brodeur and Miller. Lets also remember that guys like Filp, Zetts and Datsyuk made Neidermayer and Pronger look like pilons at times. The Sens have a lot more healthy and offensive players that will do the same. Sens in 5.
HuntsVegas Baby 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Nope. Won't be watching. The hockey season is over for me. I could care less what happens to Anaheim or Ottawa. Although if there is any justice in this world...the Stanley Cup should go to a Canadian team. Watching the Stanley Cup get paraded through Disneyland in Anaheim with all of 100 Ducks fans showing up doesn't look very good. Ditto
Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 The Ratings are gonna be worse then last years final. Ducks are a boring trap like team , Otttawa is all offence with a shutdown pairing. I probably wouldve watched , but we came this , just to lose , I dont really want to see any hockey till September
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 It's hockey, 0f course I'll watch. But that doesn't mean I won't be numb throughout the entire series.
Wing Nut 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 Go Sens!!
TheDude 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 this was bad for the NHL.. ratings are going to be terrible. I will still watch though. Even if the Wings won this series the ratings would have been horrible...outside of a few markets nobody watches the NHL playoffs in the US.
Yzermaynard 1 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 (edited) plus Alfredsson can be the first Swede to win the cup. Lidstrom's from Sweden, and he has already won the cup... a few times. Actually when you think about it a large chunk of The Wings are from Sweden. and to answer the question, I'll probably just watch the deciding games. zata40 3 Report post Posted May 23, 2007 LETS GO OTTAWA!!!!!! you bet i'm gunna watch the games, the finals are so fun to fun, my eyes are going to be glued to the tv
Barrie 900 Report post Posted May 24, 2007 and no dynasty team will ever happen again under the Bettman regime. Yup it's sad. Hopefully the Cap continues to climb, so the good teams can spend again.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted May 24, 2007 I'll still watch. I'm still in a bad mood over the Wings losing, but I'll still watch the SCF. I mean, it's hockey, and it's the finals. Although, if if something comes up and I have other plans, I'm not going to drop them like I normally would if the Wings were still playing. When the Wings are out, it's just not the same.
