Who is next to sign with Detroit?

I know its been said but I'm liking Penner at the moment. We should look into getting Boogaard or J. Lundqvist aswell. Lundqvist injured Kronwall later in the season but he's pretty fast and had decent numbers in Sweden. Boogaards just huge and he fights too.

I want Roenick.

You cannot be serious. I wouldn't take him if you paid me.

And to answer the question on Boyd Devereaux, hear tell he's staying in Toronto.

Same here.

Roenick is a funny guy off the ice, but his prime has been years and years ago.

Jeremy should know when to quite..

Boogard!!! Atleast we'd get to watch alot of fights this year, and none better than the Boog. If we sign Forskin I refuse to watch the Wings ever again.

Ok so now we have roughly $8m left. I think this would work:

Sign Fedotenko $2.2m.

Sign Guerin $3m.

Re-sign Hasek $2.8 + incentives

It doesnt look like we can get Kozlov now that he's seen Kariya get $6m & Blake get $4m. He's told atlanta he wants for money then $3.5-$4m. Guerin would add a little something on the Powerplay and will net 20-30 goals. Fedotenko adds that grit and we can put him on the PP2 as a 2nd Holmstrom

I want Roenick.

This is officially the worst idea ever. I really hope you were trying to be funny.

Roenick? For toughness? Rejuvenate him? The guy is 93 and needs to retire, plus he ahs a piss poor primadonna attitude....No. No. No.

Either way were going, were gonna pay 3-4 million for a forward, unless were just adding a third liner.

Guerin or kozlov for me.

Kozzie, don't know about getting #13 back although you never know, but the Wings have recently had some other numbers open up....

Eklund's got a Raycroft to Detroit rumor. Screw that, put Ozzie in net and let howard back him up. Both better than raycroft.

I'm actually starting to think that Roenick wouldn't be that bad to have in the Wings team , plus he could probably be had on the cheap and would mean we could probable still sign someone else .

Cap'n , I's be officially on th' lets get Roenick bandwagon......aye!!!!!! :D

Jeremy Roenick has been declining for years. The idea that he's going to "stick up for his teammates " in any physical manner in asinine.

I mean, 28 points last season? C'mon.

He was once a very good player, but pirate, his ship has sailed.

Howard had decent stats in GR for the last couple of years. Considering how depleted the GR defense has been the last couple of years, that is a pretty good sign that he's developing well. He might be ready to fill in as the Wings back up net minder.

NNNOOOOO!!!

off topic. I am going to see Tool tomorrow!! YAYAY

Forsberg is a great player. He is by far a better player than Bertuzzi and alot of you wanted Bert back. Bertuzzi is just as or mroe of a liability than Forsberg is IMO. He would fit right in with Lidstrom and Z... hell he could even make old Sammy better!!!

Oh and I saw TOOL in Birmingham... They kicked so much ass!! I have never been more high, drunk, and tripping more than I did on that night. I am surprised I am still alive lol. You just get into their music man it is crazy. They are by far one of the best live bands, they sound better in person. The most underrated band of our generation, and one of the best of all time IMO.

Saw them twice this fall and going to see them again on the 13 of july!!

Roenick would be nice. Let's face it, we've never gotten anyone in the past few years who played like a superstar. The roster is generally very balanced. So a 29 point season for cheap would still be good. We need to fill some gaps, and getting someone like Roenick instead of some untested player at least means we could get lucky and have a year where he gets his groove back.

I was on the Roenick band wagon a few years ago, and I'm officially on it again.

Oh, and why would Raycroft come to Detroit? Did I miss something with Hasek? He's still ccoming back, isn't he? And Osgood is still our backup. So why would we need Raycroft?
