In my playsatation game he had 120.... :P

not to shabby. I've once scored 250 points with Joey Kocur in my NHL 99

(or 98, don't remember :) ).

Chicago just made their team better. He's going to help them a lot. A fresh start will rejuvenate him.

they make their team better every single season and still manage to play terrible and miss playoffs year after year...

Now watch how he has a 90 point season

That's actually what I'm expecting (maybe not 90, but a productive season).... Of course, he's still lazy, he still sucks, and he really wasn't right for the Wings at this point.

Very interesting. I actually think he will have better numbers with the Hawks next year. He should mesh well with that team. But part of me really wishes he would have went out of the division. Its gonna suck to have to hate the guy 8 times a year. However, Im actually really happy to see the central get better and better.

In honor of this great day, I found it fitting to come up with a new song patterned after the New Year's classic midnight tune, Auld Lang Syne. Be sure to sing along to the beat.

Old Lang Signed

Should old acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind?

Let old acquaintance be forgot,

Now that old Lang signed.

Chorus:

For old Lang signed, my friends,

For old Lang signed,

We'll all go pray for Hawk fans yet,

For do-Lang is not so fine.

And surely he will play alot,

maybe on their top line,

But i'll toast to him a beer or two,

Because he's not on mine.

Chorus:

For old Lang signed, my friends,

For old Lang signed,

We'll all go pray for Hawk fans yet,

For du-Lang is not so fine.

I hope Lang has an awsome season, not because I wanted him to have a break out year once he left the wings, but I think he was in the same boat as Ray Whitney, did really good as the main guy, then came to a team full of talent, and slipped away into obscurity.

wow.

Lang not leaving the division.

bring on the 80+ point season.

love ya, Bobby.

id love to see the Hawks do good this year,

who knows tho, including Lang they do have a lot of older veteran question marks.

Yeah..how awful for the Hawks to have a guy that can score goals, playmake, is great on faceoffs, and can dominate when on his game. Poor Hawks. Why would they want him as their first line center.

Come on people enough already.

Chicago just made their team better. He's going to help them a lot. A fresh start will rejuvenate him.

This HAS to be a joke post. HAS to be.

Except it's not.

Lang does none of those things you mentioned well. He's a lazy guy that's a terrible skater and does nothing but give the puck away. Just because you like the guy as a person (hey, I do too) doesn't mean you have to pretend that he's a good player. He was given a ton of ice time throughout the season, and was horrible, except for his streak with Cleary.

It's no secret that most people think he sucks. Because he does.
