kylee 727 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 (edited) so ready for the WIngs to get back on track, and better yet, they can do it before the weekend is done. awesome to see that Osgood is getting the start. no prediction, just want a competitive and fast paced game. maybe see a goal from the drake? that'd pretty much be wonderful. Guest DetroitIan Report post Posted October 14, 2007 (edited) This game is HUGE for my fantasy team. I need Datsyuk or Rafalski to get me atleast one assist between them. Then I should be solid for the "W". Prediction: Red Wings 3 Kings 2 Detroit Goals Scored By: Datsyuk, Homer, and Lidstrom. LA Goals Scored By: Frolov, and Brown. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Downey should play tonight, this is getting ridiculous. Wings will win 6-1 regardless, Drake gets a goal and 2 assists, Cleary gets 2, and the rest is spread out between ZDH and Lidstrom and Rafalski. And nothing is gonna stop Chelios tommorow either! He's gonna be shooting pucks into the netting, the benches, breaking sticks and laying them across the redline, wearing old-school shoulder pads, cutting himself with hidden razor blades, arching his back over the puck, it's gonna be amazing! However, I'll be at the Rockies game, so everyone here will have to fill me in afterwards.

And everyone replies "Its chris chelios" Ah, sirdrake has made this board so much more entertaining.

55fan 5,133 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Wings win 4-1 Wings: Cheli (because there's nothing stopping him from scoring in Cali), Flip (because Babs told him to shoot), Hudler (because I get a perverse satisfaction from watching people get whiplash changing their opinions of him) and last but not least, my surprise element of the game: Tommy Ko. Not Ho, Ko. Yeah, Kopecky. It's gonna happen. Kings: Um, who cares. Someone will get lucky and put a shot in whilst Ozzy is distracted by watching Cheli. Nero 20 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I was hoping to see Jonathan Bernier in net for the Kings. He looked really solid during the first season games against the Ducks. Lets go Red Wings!
GiantRobot 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I was hoping to see Jonathan Bernier in net for the Kings. He looked really solid during the first season games against the Ducks. And got shelled the other night... With Labarbera in net, the Wings could score 5+ goals. Pav gets his first. Z gets 2 more. And as always, class act GDT Aflac

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 And got shelled the other night... With Labarbera in net, the Wings could score 5+ goals. Pav gets his first. Z gets 2 more. And as always, class act GDT Aflac easily. Dallas got 5 on him on 10/10/07, no problem -- scoring isn't exactly Dallas' forte, although Hagman is 5th in the league for goals and points, beating Zetterburg's 20th at the moment and Dats at 266th in the league. Hopefully the Wings play 60 minutes for Ozzie today, unlike the game w/ the Hawks last Friday -- but I, for one, don't think goaltending is the reason we're lost one whole game by one goal. OMG. Det News today A look at the statistic sheet shows some of the key young players the Wings were banking on this season have clearly not gotten on track. Jiri Hudler (1 point, an assist), Valterri Filppula (0 points, 5 shots on goal), Niklas Kronwall (0 points, minus-2) and Tomas Kopecky (1 assist) have done little offensively through five games. I just hope they don't get embarrassed in Anaheim, never mind the Kings.
ProfessorLidstrom5 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 Well since The Barber gives up 4.51 goals and there isn't .51 of a goal to be scored or not scored and .51 is closer to 1 than it is 0, my prediction would have to be: 5-1 Wings I mean come on we have to keep up Jason's average right? It would only be fair to do so....

Jwo 7 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 I wish they would broadcast away games in HD. Why even have the technology if your not going to use it? The Wings need to keep playing when they are up 2 goals. That is all.
