Infamous Holmstrom quote from last year

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

Hopefully this is a short-lived thread, but this has been driving me crazy for the last week or so. Last year when the ZDH line was put together and they were terrorizing the league, a sports reporter asked Homer what it was like playing on a line with Z and Dats. His response was classic, although I can't remember the exact wording of the last part. I was hoping someone would remember it and put my mind at ease.

When asked what it was like to play on a line with Z and Dats he responded with:

"Datsyuk to Zetterberg, Zetterberg to Datsyuk, and I............."

So what was that last part? I know it was something along the lines of "and I pick up the garbage" or something of the like. Please help me out. It's driving me nuts.

I remember he said something like Datsyuk and Zetterberg never stop passing to each other so sometimes he has to puck his stick in the lane to deflect it on net

You're probably talking about the one I'm referring to, but I know it started out with Homer saying "Datsyuk to Zetterberg, Zetterberg to Datsyuk, and I........."

Just by the way Homer put it, he's saying the same thing as Datsyuk and Zetterberg always pass to each other.

How about his quote from last night? I thought that was the funniest thing ever. I had to rewind it lk\ike 8 times. He's introducing the game, but he messed up, he says "Red Wings, Sharks at the Sharks uhhhhhh Tank next." After he smiled because he knew he messed up and he looked up and kind of swayed his head side to side. Then they paused the clip and he looked so funny 'cause he was still looking up. Anyone know what I'm talking about? :P

That cracked me up. Had I been able to rewind and watch it again, I definitely would have.

Essentially it was the same thing, but the particular quote I'm referring to started as I indicated in the initial post. "Z to Dats, Dats to Z, and I......."

I was trying to look up on the net for you NFM, but couldn't find it

I surfed the Internet for a while trying to get the answer, but was unsuccessful.

However "Never Forget Mac #25," you've made a terrible mistake in your title. "Infamous" is the opposite of "famous," so Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison (for example) are famous, but Adolph Hitler and Osama Bin Laden are infamous.

Perhaps Holmstrom's quote was noteworthy, humorous, poignant, significant, interesting, etc., but definitely not infamous!

Another Homer famous quote when Babcock put him in the shoot out:

The best part about that came after the game, when a reporter asked Homer: "Were you surprised when Coach told you to go out there?"

Homer's answer? "You seem to be!"

God, Homer's so f-cking SICK!!!!!!! :sly:

Infamous means he's more than famous.

"Three Amigos,Hollywood, California. You are very great. One hundred thousand pesos

to come to Santa Poco. Put on show. Stop. The infamous El Guapo."

What does that mean?

"In-famous"?

In-famous is when you're

more than famous

This man El Guapo is not just famous,

he's in-famous.

A hundred thousand pesos to do

a personal appearance with El Guapo...

who is probably the biggest actor

to ever come out of Mexico.

Wow. The in-famous?

In-famous?
